Had a great salmon sandwich with greens as well as tasty calimari.....deck is shaded well and with a nice breeze.....service was tops also....try it!
We arrived for a quick lunch Sunday, 6/19/22, and consulted the menu board outside the door. This menu was extensive, which included Brunch. On entry, and upon being seated, we were provided menus, but no Brunch menu was present (maybe Brunch was not on Sunday?...bit not go back outside to check again...not insane, lol). The waitress stated "we do not have that anymore." We ordered off the regular menu, no problem; the regular menu was adequate in choices. Our appetizer was calamari...the squid was tender and seemed fresh, but the batter gooey and flavorless, and the oil tasted quite old. Odd, since usually the issue with this item is bad squid....they just ruined a good ingredient. One entree - a fried fish sandwich - had a very generous portion of way over-fried fish, the edges of which were very chewy, almost tendon-like, lol. The inside of the fish portion was good, but the burnt batter detracted from the taste. Our hamburger was okay, but not a good as Five Guys (the bun was ice-cold, for example), however; sadly, we went here rather than Five Guys in hopes of a slightly elevated dining experience. The French fries were very strange...about 20% were fused together...not sure why that was, but I've experienced such things when cooking old, frozen fries at home. Their drinks were good and generous, thankfully... This was our second time there, with the first visit being pre-COVID and actually quite good. I hope it was just an off day - as it is a comfortable space with nice people.
Food was subpar, service was subpar. Waited a long time to get waited on. We actually had to go to the host to get our bill when we were ready to leave. Never did see the waitress again. Quite a disappointment.
The food is always a great quality!! The soups are definitely my favorite go to. The chefs are great. Drinks are good as well!! Never disappointed when I stop in here, and have been going for over 10 years now! ?
Beautiful location by water. Full of life, wonderful bar ad magnificent view from balcony. Food mezza-mezza. If you are a carnivore you will like what you receive. Prices fair, service sometimes good sometimes less. Drinks: That's why you are there.

This was great place. My second visit and for sure not my last. The view of the Hudson bridge at night was a treat. The staff was excellent. Very knowledgeable of the menu. They all worked together as a team. Enjoyed their friendliness and chatty disposition. Food was delicious. The gouda burger with onions was yummy. Chocolate lava dessert was perfect. Saved 4% just by using cash. Enjoyed a nice relaxing evening with my Sister just chatting and enjoying dinner.
The chowder tasting is a super cool idea, my family loved trying out the different kinds of chowder before being seated. For our reservation of 7, we requested to sit outside and the staff were able to accommodate us. The views are beautiful! We loved the food. The staff are super friendly. Thanks!!
I won't go into much but Jessica is running this business into the ground. My dinner the other night was sub par as my steak was not cooked to order. I ordered mid rare. It came out medium to mid well. No biggie , just cook me another steak. Jessica said the steak was cooked properly and would not compensate. How in God's name do they stay in business? The view isn't all that. Just a tourist trap I suppose.
