Came in completely pleasant and cordial. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed! I clearly placed my order to the clerk. I ordered 2 of the same meals. No receipt so I let it slide . 25 mins later after being called boss 8 times they got my order. It was wrong. I went to owner and clerk told them my order was wrong. He said I didn’t order that. However when he brought my drinks he brought wrong drink. The owner who didn’t wait on me said I didn’t order that and I’m not getting the food? So I told him he was wrong The owner is awful. As my son and I sat inside to eat he came out and said I didn’t order that. It was two dollars that they got me for! Sad…. Really the only chicken I like. However friends and family pass it on the owner here is not a good person! Tell him Jay Francese said I want nothing from you! Lol
Didn't have either dessert that I tried to order, never gave me biscuits with my 16 pc meal, tried to tell me get 2 sides when 16 pc comes with 3 sides, food was cold and chicken was dry. Help was very rude through the whole process. Look in drive up window and it's a bunch of kids working just screwing around. I guess it's back to KFC, at least they're very polite there.
This place needs to hire more adults instead of children. Order ALWAYS missing more than one items… and to top it off they will give you 2 small sides as a large (which BTW) is not close to a large. These kids don’t pay attention at all, they NEVER read the orders, they just run through it. Order at your own risk when your in drive-thru never pull off are feel sorry for the person behind you, because guess what? Your order is wrong so you better check it. Oooh never let them tell you to pull away from window to wait… hahahaaaaa you’ll be waiting for ever and a day. I hope and pray someone invest into ANOTHER Popeyes franchise in Poughkeepsie because I guarantee this location will close fast.
I visited this franchise location because I was starving and just wanted something familiar, as opposed to trying an unfamiliar restaurant and being disgusted. I went through the drive thru and the person could not get my order right to save their life! I repeated it at least 4 times and the other was still wrong when I drove up to the window. I will say the individual wasn't rude, they just lacked comprehension- which was frustrating when your already "hangry". The food was okay, typical Popeyes. Besides the ordering hiccup, I wish the food was actually hot. Those fast food visits remind me to just eat at home, in the future, I'll pass!**One sanitary concern I noticed was that NONE OF THE STAFF WERE WEARING GLOVES. When I asked the individual at the drive thru, he said he doesn't have to because he isn't handling any food. Yet when I looked beyond him, the staff handling the food were also missing their gloves. That was the second turn off but, as I mentioned, I was very hungry.The only thing I was completely happy with was the biscuit! If you just want that, go for it!
Never been here so we ordered way too much food, and the big menu screens weren’t explanatory enough (everything they show is $20 or over, and I had to ask the cashier about everything I wanted to order). Clean environment (mostly) and fast service, but I was repeatedly hounded to write this review (both upon ordering AND exiting the establishment).
Good food, good prices. This store was a little slow, but friendly. It had a drive through, and places that have one seem to place higher priority on the drive-thru, at the expense of the lobby customers. Staff was plentiful, yet they passed me by 10 times before someone finally took my order. Although restrictions are lifted most everywhere, this dining room is still closed. UPDATE: I love buttermilk biscuits with my meal. Got home after 15 minutes, and what do you think is missing.... the biscuits! That's because there were 10 people working the drive-thru, and one the desk was one girl that started working there last week. Don't try to call on the phone, I'm sure the phone's off the hook. NO voice-mail.

I went here for a lunch break and waited on line for 15 minutes before the lady took the order of the person first on line 3 people ahead of me. Me and about 3 other customers walked out immediately. I’m not about to waste anymore time coming back here. I could have driven to KFC down the street, received my order, driven back to pop eyes and I would still be on the line. Idk what it is but something is obviously wrong in the employee quality department. There’s not an overload of customers or anything unreasonable that any normal business shouldn’t be able to handle. even if I did have the time I don’t want to stand there for 20 minutes before I even give my order. I had to go to the gas station for lunch instead of eating delicious chicken because this establishments employees don’t know how to take care of customers. I can clearly see all the awesome and tasty looking chicken prepared there and it’s not hard to put it in a box and take my money. I’ll go to other businesses near by where employees actually care about service and maybe where they work a little harder. I don’t know what it is but I’m not going back here though that I do know. If I owned this business I would worry and surely focus in the service quality department. There’s lots of places nearby competing with this place and they are gonna win
