Good service but the wait for the food was long. And the forks they tried to give us was dirty had to ask for plastic. The food was good.

The Palace Diner is one of the very few good diners left in the Poughkeepsie area. I always enjoy coming here with friends and getting milkshakes or something. The other night we had a waitress, Jenna, who was absolutely amazing! She had a great and fun attitude and was very attentive, despite being the only waitress on the floor. As for management, I would give them zero stars if I could. How dare you schedule one waitress by herself on a busy Saturday night. That just screams greediness and that’s not fair to the diners, or to the waitress. I would understand doing something like this on a slow week night but this is inexcusable because it was quite busy and it was a Saturday night.

When we first walked in a server walked by us twice without even acknowledging us so I saw a gentleman server it looked at him he acknowledged me came right over gave us menus and we sat at his station his name was Juan and gave us the best service when we visit the Palace Diner he will be our only server from now on delightful attentive and overall just a nice person thank you Juan we will be back to see you

Huge portions. Comfort food. Long menu. Loved the roast beef sandwich, and the pancakes were good too.

The Palace diner is one of my favorite diners to go to. Their food is so good. Their salads are huge and so delicious. Very fresh, great quality. I highly recommend it. I've also had their breakfast here and their desserts are absolutely scrumptious.

We have always enjoyed breakfast at the Palace, but on St. Patrick's Day we decided to order out and picked up one of their corned beef and cabbage meals...... it was quite delicious and there was enough for the two of us and plenty of corned beef left for sandwiches the next day! Very nice!

great diner food.stopped by for lunch after visiting Marist Collge. Had ruebens, salads, and a delicious macaroni and cheese/pulled pork sandwich which our son said was the best sandwich he ever ate. Topped off with a classic thick strawberry shake. Not the healthiest lunch but delicious.

Friendly server, but she shared her frustration with other staff with our table (unprofessional). I heard cursing from staff, and we had our children with us for dinner. Water glasses were dirty, and it makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and freezers. And my food was not fresh. Lettuce was discolored and old. Potatoes used for fries we bruised. Only good thing was the taste of the food. Burgers tasted good, but patties were frozen. Disappointing experience

whoever make that picnic basket 2 recipe with chicken and fries and honey Dijon mustard sauce on the side, should be proud of the work. Absolutely delicious, fresh, and my favorite celebration food.

For the last 25 years my friend and I had coffee there apx once each week. When Teddy and his family owned it Palace was a wonderful place. I wish the new owner luck, but I don't visit any more.
