I was craving vegetables, so I ordered pasta primavera. What a disappointment. The only veggies other than garlic were broccoli and a few slices of yellow and green summer squash. Really??? The sauce was flavorless and the pasta was overcooked. For the price, I expected a lot more for my money. Won't recommend...
Well - I tried this place - Very Very disappointed !"Meat"balls are really just bread-egg balls with very little meat.LOL --- you get two meatballs cut in 1/2 to look like four ? What is this?I was shocked ! Cut in Half ! --Flat on one side !Chicken Kokopelli was thin and overcooked - swimming over a few strands of spaghetti. Strands ! Where is the pasta? it's cheap ! Seriously.Pasta alfredo with chicken - had no taste. We had add lots of salt, pepper, and my own parmesian cheese. Very little chicken - cut in thin, flat squares.Lasagna with meat sauce (which I ordered instead of the manicotti because it was meat sauce - was marinara - no meat. Portion was very tiny.There are so many, many other Italian restaurants in Poughkeepsie and Hyde Park which are a trillion times better than Kokopelli's.Not Good ! Do not recommend.
Great people and food highly recommended
The restaurant itself is small but cozy. The menu had a lot of delicious-sounding food, and I ended up getting the pizza rolls. As you can see in the picture, it was more like a pizza log. It had a lot of dough and less fillings, but I greatly enjoyed it. I also tried one of the nachos, they were delicious. Our server was very kind, and brought everything out in a timely manner. The same day that I went there, I also ate some pasta and wings that were catered by Kokopelli, and they were great.
Great Italian restaurant in Poughkeepsie. Must try for anyone who loves Italian cuisine
Everything was so dang good!! Only thing I had a problem with; I think that their bbq chicken pizza that I ordered was not fresh, I strongly believe that they had the pie sitting out and they threw it in the oven which I regret to order but still; I’m looking at the glass half full at this moment. Had they have given me a FRESH pie, then they’d have 4 stars. The garlic knots are probably one of the best things on their menu. And their chicken Alfredo is good as well. Wish it had more Parmesan cheese and wished they had the sauce more saucy and reduced down a bit to thicken up but other than that it hit the spot! ???
What a great place. I absolutely look forward to going back. I was very pleased with the seasoned calamari. I had a reservation for 10 people and we were very well accommodated.The calzones, taco salad, and chimichangas we’re are very good. There were no complaints at my table. Excellent staff as well.
What is this pizza. Wasn’t cut completely and it’s all crust basically. Highly disappointed

The pizza is pretty good.. The service is good as well..worth a visit for a nice size slice
