Fantastic Mexican food. Best lengua tacos and the 7 Mares soup is amazing. Generous with the garnishes and side sauces, which were A+. Great horchata too!
The food is tasty and the service is good and fast. They don't have many things on the menu on the day we visited, like mole, salsa verde or roja. So I lower one star.
We ordered the fajitas de pollo and the super tacos with chicken. Both were just perfect; and I mean each ingredient was outstanding, all the way down to the rice. Quantities were generous and they even let us park our bikes indoors because we didn’t have locks. This is an absolute treasure given the low prices; with exemplary service being the bonus!

Come to Cocina Oaxaqueña for authentic Mexican food (not fast food American versions)! It’s the best I’ve tasted! Recommend the Mole!!

Came here for lunch after walking across the Hudson River walkway. And the place did not disappoint. Ordered the sopes con chorizo and wifey ordered the flautas with chicken. Kiddie ordered the chicken nuggets and fries lol. The food was great. Loved the sopes and service was quick. It’s a small place but they make it work. Overall, would come back again if I’m in the area.
Hidden gem. Authentic Mexican cuisine. Love the food! Prices are adequate and staff is quick and friendly.
