What a lovely lovely place!! We really enjoyed our brunch at Alex’s. Had a very friendly waitress, who accommodated my kids well and took good care of the whole family in general. The food took quite long to arrive but was super delicious and it was just fun to sit and wait. The place was buzzing on a late Monday morning, and the prices were cheaper than I had expected. Will definitely revisit whenever in the area again.

This gets a solid 5 stars from me! We were looking for brunch places in Poughkeepsie, and Alex's popped up. Between the consistently good reviews and the mouth-watering pictures of croissant breakfast sandwiches, I was sold.It definitely lived up to the hype! Our server Michelle was energetic and bright, very attentive and personable. Everything we ordered was DELICIOUS. Even my little niece gave it 2 thumbs up and said it was (in her own words) "excellent." Finally, a restaurant that makes great hollandaise sauce, I'm thrilled! I highly recommend the Southern Fried Chicken plate, and the Challah French Toast stuffed with Nutella and bananas. We will definitely be coming back!
Great food. Reasonable prices. A little noisy, but fine for breakfast or lunch. Restroom area could definitely use an upgrade! Also, restaurant closes too early. Poughkeepsie would be better served if it would stop operating like a small town.

The service and food was fantastic. Wait staff was helpful with food suggestions and very friendly. We all enjoyed our orders and I can't believe I've never eaten here in the 21 years I've lived a town away! Definitely will be going again soon.
Would luv to give a 5*. Grew up coming here n so happy theyve survived COVID, as so many other neighborhood restaurants/taverns/deli's/corner stores unfortunately have been closing their doors. Excellent job!!
