We went on Sat 5:15pm and the place was already bustling. Reservation highly recommended. We got seated and were served hot tea. Chicken karaage was ok. But Age Tofu was good. We ordered Chirashi and Tonkatsu for our entree, and they were both amazing. The only thing was they have so many takeout orders that the chirashi came at a much later time than the Tonkatsu. The waitress kept checking on us and apologized. Positive experience
It feels like eating in 90's but fishes are fresh and prices are good. Service is nice. Nothing to complain and nothing special.

I was very excited to try this place since it had some many good reviews. Maybe it was an off night for the restaurant. We ordered the gyoza appetizer it was excellent but are main dishes were average at best. The sushi was cut too thick in my opinion and I was not impressed with the toro. The service was good and they have us some complimentary fruit.
2022.03 nice place to dine. A classic Japanese restaurant environment. Omakase must try. Reasonable price with uni, amiebi, lobster, scallop, and lot of toro. The appetizer is really good, we have the eggplant, soft and tender with believe grounded fish stuffing With light sauce. Not noisy at all. Service is excellent and prompt.
Was excited to try this “authentic” japanese restaurant. I ordered a toro scallion roll , and it was obviously not toro and regular tuna. the fish did not taste fresh. I came back home and immediately felt sick. I had the worst food poisoning in my life. do not recommend this place.
Delicious sushi and sashimi and excellent service. Waitress was very attentive. If you are going to visit this place weekends make sure you make a reservation, they are jam packed.
casual, unpretentious, exceptional sushi. simple but better than anything I’ve had in NYC. reminds me of when I visited Tokyo.
