Absolutely delicious food from bread, appetizers, entrees and all the way to dessert.Knowledgeable staff and an even more passionate owner taking great care of their guests. Nice and mellow atmosphere with plenty of room. The smell is intoxicating with the aromas of spices and herbs.Authentic flavor and delicious tasting food. My first time in Port Washington and I was blown away with my meal. I will make sure I come back when I’m ever in town again.
I was in the mood for Italian food and I stopped in here after a quick Google search. The food here is actually really great. They start you with some bread which is freshly made in the restaurant. Honestly the bread was hard to put down, as you can imagine it was still hot from the oven, melting in your mouth with every bite. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and the mussels pesto marinara. Both tasted fantastic. The shrimp cocktail came with a small side salad which was a nice little surprise; the dressing on it was spot on. Main course for me was the penne del alba, a very nice sized portion and it had this perfect buttery taste. I was too full for dessert but I had a coffee to finish out my meal.Honestly this was one of the best, most authentic Italian food experiences I've had, so much so that I had to write about it. A+, and I'm definitely coming back here.
I tried this place for the first time based on the Google reviews. I enjoyed the food and the staff was very courteous and attentive. Food prices were reasonable, came with hot bread basket which is a plus in my book. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. The ambiance was cozy also. I would definitely recommend.

The service was beyond excellent and the food was twice that. Warm family atmosphere and the food tasted like grandma made it. I live in the south shore and this is the only restaurant I will drive this far to eat. Simply the best Italian food.

We had the most amazing dinner here with friends last night. The thing I was craving wasn't even on the menu but when I described it, the chef cooked it to perfection anyway. Even the desserts were perfect. Plan to spend some time, it's not the kind of place you dine and dash. Relax and enjoy the excellent service.

Freddy and our waiter were just so warm and welcoming, especially as facilities were re-opening post severe covid restrictions. Hubby, a friend and I went for dinner and not only enjoyed the staff's company and good humor, the food was outstanding. I had a shrimp and asparagus dish drizzled with balsamic vinegar which was fabulous. I gather from the other patrons, they were enjoying their meals as well. Price was a bit on the high side, but I would not hesitate to return, and actually look forward to my next trip to this restaurant.
