This place is outstanding. Our hostess Bethany was super helpful getting us a table as soon as possible. Our servers Timo and Arbie were fantastic at their jobs. Professional and made great recommendations.You can't beat the location. Lots of outside seating overlooking the water. Also great party rooms inside and a nice bar.The food was amazing. My dad had the Fish & Chips with fries which he enjoyed....the fries were done just right. Nice and crisp with the right amount of salt. My wife and I shared the Branzino as well as the Pear and Brie Salad with Raspberry Vingarette. We agreed all the flavors were absolutely delicious and it was the best Branzino we had ever eaten.Last but not least....dessert! The Pistachios Ricotta Cake was off the charts delicious. I would come back just to have another bite of that special plate!Louie's definitely won my family over quickly....can't wait for our next visit!Heads up - Parking is a nightmare....but well worth the frustration once you sit down for a great culinary experience...
Beautiful locale. Service was poor. We waited 15 minutes to order drinks. The waiter could not understand us when we were placing the order. The table next to us ordered long after us and received their food before we did. We questioned this and we were told the food was coming right out. It didn't. I believe the cooks or someone made a mistake, but the waiter wouldn't just be honest with us. That would've been much appreciated.Their two local drafts don't have the brewery listed. I asked the waiter, and two people behind the bar and none of them knew where the beer came from. In my opinion, this is a significant lack and knowledge about your product that you serve. The server behind the bar told me, "we just get a big keg of it and that's all I know."We did not feel well received at all.

I would have rated Louie’s Poor or (1) if I’d consider only my Lump Crab Cake. Although it had lump crab meat, it was heavy with crumb bread, the texture of it was awful! I am considerate and rate this satisfactory or (3) to be fair to Louie’s for several reasons- my sister was happy with her lobster bisque, my husband was satisfied with his chicken dish, the water view, the sunset and the attentive service.
I came here with two friends, I had the Lobster Bisque, was delicious !!! And after I had the Salmon sandwich! Really good! But kinda big!If you’re really hungry… go for it! I recommend this place! The view its beautiful and peaceful!
Really enjoyed Louie's... Have been meaning to come here for years since it is an LI staple. We were very happy that we finally made it. The restaurant had recently changed owners and we were told the menu was updated. This place is deceptive from the outside of the restaurant. Once inside, the ceilings are way higher than expected, and it is a truly beautiful space. Food was spot on, service was very friendly, and the crowd was good. Would love to come back once the outdoor space is open for a drink on the water.
Posting 1 star earlier was a mistake. I love Louie’s and recommend it to my friends who have also enjoyed dining there. This restaurant deserves a 5 star rating!
Love the food! Ordered seafood combination with Jasmine rice is EXCELLENT! Little pricey, waiter is nice, bathroom is clean, but place need some decorations. Sangria is good.
Just ok... I'll start off by saying the Lobster bisque was on point, very good. I was there with a large party, of which most of us ordered the sea bass...it was visually unappealing because everything on the plate was white(coming from a chef's mindset), there were no vegetables served with it, and it was BLAND.. no salt, no pepper, no NOTHING.We spent 3.5hrs there and it was not crowded at all... service a little slow, but it was good to know they didn't rush us to leave either.We froze sitting out in the covered patio.
