It’s just a basic ice cream parlor. Nothing special. Tucked away in a little corner you wouldn’t find it if you weren’t looking. Was a lot better when the Cinema was open. Could use a makeover and maybe a table or two to sit down and enjoy your ice cream. They are trying, I’ll give them that but it’s an uphill battle for the small businesses in the area.
Horrible customer service experience! The lady working today was very rude. I asked her one question about the Wednesday promotion buy one get one free and she almost killed me with her eyes and her anger! I am sorry I am in between sizes and want small not medium as she want me to ordered? since when serving soft serve is rocking science? she make the whole experience with my toddler so difficult, I went to support local business and have been there before but this time was disappointing. Carvel remember you are selling the joy of ice cream, it should be fun not stressful!

This location is in the corner of the Soundview shopping center, next to the movie theatre, which is closed due to the pandemic. Wednesday is buy one sundae and get one free. Freshly made and delicious.
Quite disappointed with this carvel. The ice cream is quite good, how expected from all the carvels, but the woman, and man working their. They are really rude, slow slow, REALLY SLOW service. I had to wait about 20 minutes to enter a store on a line with 5 people. Like come on. The store is dirty, and woman has some trouble hearing, as I had to repeat myself 5 times to get chocolate ice cream, and btw if you want to get regular chocolate ice cream, not on a soft serve, they ain’t got those. I’m not coming again, as I’m worried about their sanitation. Can’t tolerate these kind of places in Long Island. Edit: some of the reviews are written by themselves, and the people only commented on their ice cream cakes. As if you go to any carvel in queens. It’s 1000x Better.

Place almost always has a line and can be a little pricey. Amazing tasting low fat vanilla flying saucers.
Terrific store and staff. We get ice cream and cakes for every event.
Always good frozen custard desserts such as cones, Brown Bonnets and Flying Saucers to go. Great choice of toppings, all at reasonable prices, especially Wednesdays when you can get two sundaes for the price of one.
