I went here for a bridal shower so the menu selection was limited. The fried calamari was light and crispy. The salmon was moist and tasty. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor seating and a bar area. There were two other events during the Sunday afternoon I was there so the noise level was a bit high. I imagine a typical weekend dinner would be much quieter. The service was very attentive and friendly. One wait staff member was actually very funny.
The food were good and waiters we're very attentive, the tomahawk steak was... Good not great, for the money I would not order again. The atmosphere was good, but loud, gotta yell to hear one another. Not what I imagined.Deserts we're really good, except the tiramisu. It's missing something vs Eatalys version.Old fashion was meh... Get wines instead.
This place is one of my favorites. We have eaten here many times and have not had a bad meal yet. It’s a New York vibe, people having a good time. The free small bite plate they put your table to pick from is tremendous.I have eaten just about everything on the menu, you won’t be disappointed.I wish I had pics to take but I can never just pause a second to take a pic, I just want to dog in.
Overall my experience was quite mediocre compared to my expectations. For an appetizer I ordered the fried zucchini flower stuffed with ricotta. It was much more heavily breaded than what I had in Rome, where I remember it being very lightly fried and a little crisp. The tomato puree on the plate was good, but it also made me think I'd basically ordered a high class mozzarella stick. For my main course I ordered the risotto with spinach and lobster. The risotto clearly wasn't made to order. It was very chewy, seemingly precooked and then reheated and left under a warner for a time. The lobster was a little spongy, almost like it had been fried instead of baked or boiled. Definitely wouldn't order it again. I didn't finish it and didn't want to bring the leftovers home, which is rare for me. I LOVE leftovers. My wife enjoyed her veal ossobuco, but her side of risotto had the same problem as mine.My Napoleon for dessert was very good, and definitely the highlight of my meal.Overall I'm not sure I'd go back. For these prices, I expect far better than "meh".
I just want to say Thank You for a fabulous Birthday dinner. Your food is delicious and never disappoints. Your crew is A+. I recommend you to everyone. Stay safe and healthy and I’ll see you guys soon.
Had a wonderful time! My 3 friends and I had dinner reservations on a Tuesday. The food was so good; decent size portions (not humongous, but enough for wrapping up) and impeccable quality. The service staff were amazing! They were attentive to us, without feeling clingy or rushed. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, entrees and dessert. The options for everything is plentiful. The drinks were perfect to order; we had some leftover appetizers and entrees, which the staff promptly wrapped up and gave to us in our own individual bags, as we were heading to different places. This was a wonderful experience.
Spotless service, exquisite food, and a topnotch menu gave us the most wonderful dinner we had in a long while. There's usually a nice mix of crowd, from what we've heard, with nice music and a great atmosphere. All waiters were very knowledgeable and consistently offered proper recommendations and information. The highlight of the night was the Chicken and Shrimp "scampi". As was the tiramisu (considering coffee-flavored desserts are not our forte). This being an "upscale" venue, expect higher prices on everything.
Had my daughter birthday dinner here and everything was excellent. The staff, the food and the attention to detail was perfect. I could not have asked more from the staff, thank you for delivering an amazing experience.
Amazing! Service, food and atmosphere. The luxury of dining in home taste, but atmosphere and friendly service…simply put so glad and will return❤️
A “corporate” restaurant with little or no soul. Competent but feels like they are disinterested and going through the motions. Pleasant “hotel lobby” decor greets you. Nice plate of cheese, olives and salami offered to the table. Only quibble is that one of the salamis should have been mild, not both spicy. Bread OK. Wine pour better than most. Best dishes were the salads; big enough to share, and my friend’s strip steak looked like a nice piece of meat. My wife and I ordered veal dishes which came with generic potatoes and sautéed vegetables largely without flavor. The veal was overly breaded and soggy and covered with a dull brown sauce. We did not stay for desert. So why a 2 ? Perhaps a 3 or 4 would have been fairer if we had ordered the steak but the “Italian” food was really second rate. We expected more after all the hype.
