Beautiful traditional local pub, with friendly staff and delicious beers, as well as a super cool vibe near the famous Capital Theater!
Personally I think this is one of the most underrated food spots in all of Westchester County. I live near the border in Greenwich and its a go to. I’ll start with some must trys. First off you have their steak sandwich. It’s a full piece of steak, not chopped up Philly style. Always get mixed peppers hot and sweet. House made bbq sauce is already on it, but you have to ask for a side of Sam’s Sauce. Comes with fries and if you’re feeling a little wild throw those on there as well. Incredible. Another staple there is their wings. Super simple and straight forward. To give you an idea of how good they are we did a vote for the best wings in Greenwich (just over the border) and they won the fan vote. Like I said, anything on their menu is outstanding, but if you want the full experience to start I’d go with a steak sandwich and wings for an app. What the hell throw in some super tots and popcorn shrimp as well. I was craving French onion soup and Sams never Disappoints. Ive been coming here for 20 years and it never ocurred to me that one of the reason their soup is so good is that it is made from scratch. I only thought to ask when I found two bay leaves in my soup. I will definately be back for more!

Food was good, had different choices, felt it was not rushed,,service was solid and very giving, good choices on beers and drinks!!
Sam's is one of Westchester's hidden gems. Come for a drink and stay for the food!The Cajun popcorn shrimp w/Sam's sauce, chicken a la Sam's, steak wedge and their burger menu are must tries.Bring some friends for game night and sign up to compete against other teams in shuffleboard... it'll make for a great night!
