We drove half an hour to go to this restaurant that was explicitly advertised to us on social media and they turned us away during prime dinner time due to short staff. There was no warning or indication this would happen, and it was not possible to make a reservation or get through with anyone at the restaurant. The server just curtly and rudely turned us away.Pay your employees fairly and hire more people, or shut down, don’t be another garbage restaurant.
To start things off, Travis is a helluva server. I wasn't overly impressed with my first experience due to exorbitant wait times. I treat this part of the experience with a grain of salt due to staffing shortages affecting everyone. The biggest issue that I have is the high prices such as $12.50 for a kids meal. In that price, a kids meal also comes with a scoop of ice cream and that was not offered. I refuse to blame Travis for this because I have seen him running around the whole visit. The food was good and cannot be overlooked, but pricing on a kids meal sticks out like a sore thumb.
6/25/2022Asked about an outside table for 2. The guy at the host station in a somewhat snotty tone said there was a minimum 2hr wait because there was a large group of retired Airforce having a reunion, or you can sit at the bar. All for the veterans taking their time they earned it. But when we walked to the bar area and saw two empty tables and asked if they were part of the bar the same host said in an even more condescending tone "no those are about to be seated. Sorry guys". Not a good first impression even if you were swamped. Doubtful we'll try to eat here again.
You will think you are headed in the wrong direction but keep going because this place is worth a visit. Ate outside, which was excellent. A nice view and very pleasant. The Moscow Mule I got was a disappointment but the food was good and the atmosphere relaxing.
I only had a chance to visit for a drink and dessert. It was a short visit but it was a tasty Sweet Tea and a yummy Keylime pie. Definitely one of the best views in town. Can't beat waterfront dinnig. I'll be back soon to explore the rest of the menu.
We are tourists. Stopped here while my son and daughter suggested a light meal and drink before dinner. Google map gave suggestion. Pretty good atmosphere and good catch of its Happy Hours ( 4-6p ).The bartender was very nice and service was great.... Here is pet friendly, There was a leashed big dog sitting right by me at bar.... Wow.... Um... Food was delicious too..
We’re seated at table, no service for 20 mins. People seated after us were served. Had to move to bar to get served. Wings were cold in the middle. Go for the outdoor seating and view.
1st time there. Sat outside on the deck out back right next to the water. Watched the boats and people watched. Lunch menu is small but food was good. Staff was friendly. Will go back for sure.
Probably the best location in Plattsburgh for a restaraunt, the prices for the food are still overpriced for what you get. Staff is always friendly and its a great place to have a drink and catch up, but would recommend seeking someplace else to eat, its not bad food, just that the quality doesn't meet the price. (For instance it was $16 for a quesadilla that was decent but nothing you can't get elsewhere for much less).
Really good customer service, well located with a nice atmosphere and really good food!
