We love the Michigan's and homemade fries for a North Country treat. The car service is always amazing with fast, friendly servers. Quick, reasonable and fun!
I'm rating for stars because it is yet another restaurant that does not know what an over medium egg is. Otherwise the breakfast and the service were great.
Very pleasent experience here. Came in for an early breakfast with my family. Food was good. Waitress very friendly and inviting. Prices are very reasonable for what you get.I ordered a western omelette, sub ham for bacon. And husband ordered a breakfast sandwich. We also ordered kids pancakes which we easily split between our two children.
Busy place, but of course that means it is good service, good food, and great prices for the portion sizes. The portions are not overwhelming, and best of all, they have distinct flavors, not just monotonous grease, and unique recipes on the menu, not just as flavorful specials. AND they serve lunch all day!!!I recommend the strawberry stuffed French toast and the Spanish omelet. The hash browns were also tasty.
I eat there alot.. the workers are always friendly.. food taste so good.. it's always clean.. owner is awesome..
So Memorial Day lunch we wanted hotdogs Because we rarely eat them out. The service here was good, but my hotdog was just warm. Slaw on top of it was OK nothing to really get excited about but it was the onion rings that Were tasty. Fries are homemade And were ok. Iced teawas watered down. So it was kind of a up-and-down meal. If you order onion rings they are A whopping six dollars.
I was very ready to go have breakfast at what is usually a great place to eat. I had done my errands for my wife and got to Michigans Plus in Plattsburgh, NY at 12:15 - thought it was gonna my lucky day. Got the parking space right in front of the entrance and went it. I went straight to the seat yourself bar where the two people next to me were looking over their menus with water in front of them. I nodded hello to them and waited for a menu and a server. A couple of minutes later, the waitress showed up and asked the two next to me if they were ready to order. They both ordered and it all sounded great. The lady took their menus and put them in their little holder right in front of me. Now, maybe she thought someone else was gonna give me a menu or even acknowledge my existence with a greeting. She told the two next to me, “I will put that right in and get you your chili.” To me, she said nothing. I know and recognize that we are still struggling with a pandemic and restaurants are almost all short handed. I have no problem with that except with the fact that for almost twenty minutes that I sat in Michigans Plus ,no one, including the owner and even the chef that walked by, said even ‘hello’. Yes, Michigans Plus was very busy but the waitress had the time to bring all of the food to people on my left and a piece of chocolate cake to the gentleman on my right but could not find the time to give me a menu and say something like, “I am sorry, we are very busy I will be with you as soon as I can,” and trust me, I would have understood. After twenty minutes, (give or take two minutes), I told the people eating next to me, “Have A Nice Day!” and I walked out and drove 5 minutes away to another great breakfast place on Bridge Street in Plattsburgh called The Campus Corner. Even though they were just as busy, they managed to greet and serve me and send me on my way happily, with a full belly, all, in about the same time I sat and waited at The Michigans Plus in Plattsburgh, NY. Thus, my first one star has been awarded to them! Have A Great Day!

With my two toddlers this place went above and beyond! The waitress was so welcoming and accommodating. They went out of their way to help my kids and I feel comfortable like at home! The food was hot and fresh my burger was juicy the kids meals were a good size and I asked for the fresh fruit cup on the side yummy! The Belgian waffle my hubby got was actually huge and crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside!! Fresh ground coffee and the smell of bacon was to do for I will eat here every day!!! Not to mention how clean and organized everything seemed! Even with low staff the employees seems pretty comfortable and easy going moving swiftly I think the waitress was juggling about 10 tables plus the phone and counter, very impressive!
I've been coming here for years. Always a perfect spot for breakfast or lunch as their specials are a perfect compliment to the day. Pricing is perfect, the staff is always super friendly, and the service is quick. Out of all the times I've been here with is most definitely 100+ times, I have never had a bad experience. I will always recommend Michigan's Plus to anyone.
