Arrived for dinner (4 seniors) at 5:40 Thursday and waited for a table 10 minutes. Server arrived at our table within 5 minutes and returned to take our orders 10 minutes later. Our dinners took an exceptionally long time and arrived at 6:50. Server was pleasant and apologized for the delay. Appeared to be staff shortage and many open tables. Meals were good. Dining experience not as pleasant as expected.
Went in at 830 pm last night and there was about 9 people at the bar and one table waiting for food and one table paying. Asked to be seated and was told it would be 15 mins or so........hmmm... ok so then went someplace else for a drink and app came back, same people at the bar and now literally one table and once again was told 15 mins for a table.. not sure what is going on at this place but you would think maybe that manager needs to step up and help in situations like this. One table one friggen table
Well, after looking online with a 4.0 STAR review,We decided to give it a try Last weekend.Long waiting over 25 minutes but at least they had the text messages System telling you when u’re next! We sat on the table, order appetizers all good everything was fine! The chicken quesadillas were delicious! And then comes the main plate! What a disaster!! Pasta overcooked look like then been made yesterday and heated in the oven! Chicken no taste!! My sister InLaw ordered ribs and pasta! Well same thing for the pasta and the ribs…. What ribs what was that! Overall 100$ Waisted for 3 people!! NEVER AGAINNEXT!
I could eat the entire menu, everything sounds delicious and every time I go I enjoy my food. Last time we got the crispy chicken mac n cheese (that comes with a delicious seasoned breadstick) and the grilled chicken breast for a ridiculously low price. Sadly we don't have Applebees where I live but every time I pass by Plattsburgh I make sure to stop at this location to enjoy a nice meal!
I have been in multiple restaurants in NY in the past few days as a tourist, the attitude of people working here are brilliant, from James who welcomed us at the door to Courtney who has smart and nice answers to your questions. I have read multiple other reviews and found that I am not the only one impressed by the attitude of people working here. I believe a manager with a similar mindset can bring these people under one roof. I highly recommend this place. Bravo.
Service was great food was on point, a great dinner.
The food was okay and the price was good. They didn't get my order right but I suppose it was close enough because I ate it. The person a couple seats down from me didn't get the right order either.
Finally went for dinner here for the first time. It was not terrible, but not outstanding either. Most of the food tasted fine. Had two issues, and the rest was fine. First, the blended drink was a bit sloppy and had to be mopped up from the table quite a bit. Second, I ordered the mac and cheese without the bacon bits and it still came with the bacon bits. It also seemed to be less of mac and cheese and more of an Alfredo pasta with a cheese flavor. It tasted OK just not what I was thinking when it says mac and cheese. Next time I will try something else.The dessert was good and the appetizers were amazing. The blended drink tasted good too.They also provide bad tasting paper straws for non-alcoholic drinks (alcoholic drinks get plastic straws). If you prefer a straw, then you might want to bring your own unless you like the strong taste of paper/cardboard in your drink. The waitress might allow you a plastic one, but seems to go against their policy so it would be a toss up.
Went here for lunch with a business partner recently and it was pretty good. I had a burger that was cooked to the temperature I ordered with fries. Definitely a good place to go if you're passing through plattsburgh. Not my favorite restaurant in town but in my top 5 for sure.
The story of two meals. My wife's Bourbon street chicken and shrimp was great. My 4 cheese mac and cheese with chili chicken strips was bland, gummy and completely unappetizing. Like they came from two different kitchens
