It appears that Star Kitchen has had a turnover of ownership or chefs again. This was our favorite place for chinese food when we moved to the area in 2010. Tonights order was a disaster. Everything was made vegetarian (we did not order this) fried items were steamed and NO RICE was given with the order.And when we called to address this with the employee they admitted that the chef made a mistake and had no explanation or apology for the missing items.Sad when a good place gets this bad

We order at least once a week! Food is always delicious, portions are great size, and you can't beat the price. I recommend the General Tsao's in thai chili sauce, sesame beef, roast pork egg foo young, and boneless chicken. They're our go to Chinese spot!!
1st time the sesame chicken was okay but too saucy. 2nd time the chicken was too fatty, dry and chewy. Iffy on a 3rd time.

First time ordering from here and the last time ordering from here. Placed a big order of 2 orders of shrimp toast and shrimp with lobster sauce combo and other things. Shrimp with lobster sauce should be called shrimp with water sauce. Was so runny we threw it out. They gave us 1 little container of duck sauce for everything. Not even enough for 1 egg rollSpent $50.00 for this foodWas horribleWill never order from here again

Good food but the lady at the counter doesn't always pay attention and ends up giving you whatever so CHECK YOUR FOOD before you leave
I saw the poor reviews that this place has gotten. Not knowing how it was with the previous owner I have no idea how it was. We here at a local business order lunch regularly from here. We find the food always fresh and well prepared. The quality is actually much better than other places in the area that cost more. If you are a fan of Long Island Chinese food you will not be dissapointed.
