One of the best pastrami sandwiches in town
Went here for the first time. Their pastrami on rye was delicious. They also make very good corned beef and potato pancakes. They provided great service. Will be back again soon.
Are you a New Yorker? Born and raised? Then youremember deli. You know, the deli every Jewishneighborhood had with Hebrew National dogs andhomemade baked potato and kasha knishes on the grill, steam table loaded with corned beef, brisket and pastrami, fresh baked rugelach for dessert. Dr Browns in abundance and a comped bowl of pickles and slaw on your table. Very few of these places remain. Sure there are the tourist traps, rip-offs and inedible pretenders but Regal Kosher Deli is the real deal. Been here for 4evah! Their pickles, homemade soups, hot dogs, knishes, specials and beans, pastrami, corned beef and brisket are the Tri-States best. Prices totally fair. Portions YUUUGE. We live in Brooklyn and find nothing in the city these days compares to Regal, a 5 minute detour off the LIE we hit up on trips to The Hamptons.I came, I saw, I noshed. Support your local KosherDeli! Soon they may all be gone.
This place is an institution. Although I'm only giving them 4 stars because I feel like they use to give bigger portions of meat. I could be mistaken but unlikely seeing how I eat here alot. Again you can't go wrong coming here. Warm loving atmosphere with amazing staff. The old school culinary culture at Regal never disappoints.
Blast from the past! Good old Jewish Deli... nicely prepared pastrami and corned beef sandwiches piled high, great frenchfrys too, just delish! Add a bowl of matzoh ball soup and this completes the experience.
My family where steady customers at the regal deli in Plainview, in 2017 while purchasing some food i handed the worker 2 - $20 bills to pay for food that was $20++ , he hands me back change like i paid him $30, i told him i gave you $40, he looked at me and said no you didn’t, I realize mistakes happen, but i was 100% sure i gave him $40, i told him theres a camera pointing right at us, go check, he refused, i told him to tell the manager or owner to do it, he refused, owner is not here, he says, Then later that day i called from home and asked to speak with the owner/ manager , this guy answers the phone, ok ok ok he says ill tell him to call you, no call, no response. It wasn't about the money, it was about this guy trying to get over on me. Moral of the story it is now 2021 and that day in 2017 was last time me or my family stepped foot in the regal deli Plainview, they will never get my business again.

Excellent kosher deli with delicious corned beef and pastrami. Not many delis like this left and this one needs to be supported!
