When you go in person its delicious and portion size is good for the price a dinner combo costs. But ordering for pickup I'm not sure what they do but they do not give you the same portion you get much less. Paid 27$ for dinner combo with shrimp and there was like nothing. Food is delicious but portions when you do pickup order is terrible.
Their Hibachi is fantastic! We all had a fantastic time and our chef was entertaining and highly skilled. Their steak was particularly yummy. Highly recommend!
This was quite possibly THE worse Japanese restaurant we have ever experienced. I would highly recommend avoiding it. We ordered takeout and when we got the food home our salmon teriyaki was chicken teriyaki. Mistakes can happen anywhere but it was the response that was outrageous. We immediately called and the owner/manager finally got on the phone and said " the vegetables are the same in both entrees so I'll send out a piece of salmon". In other words, he wanted us to use the vegetables from the wrong dish and re-plate it ourselves. This entree was $27.00!! We explained that we don't eat chicken and we don't want the vegetables that are sitting underneath it. He seemed annoyed that he would now have to make a whole new entree. The chicken teriyaki didn't look like a quality piece of chicken breast either. It looked rubbery and undercooked. The salmon teriyaki was delivered to us about 20 minutes later. It was fishy tasting and very unappealing. We also ordered the hibachi fried rice which was described as having vegetables and egg as ingredients. You needed a magnifying glass to see any vegetables or egg. They were hardly included in the fried rice recipe and the color of the rice was close to off white. We have never seen fried rice look so unappetizing. The vegetable gyoza had almost no vegetables inside and they were dripping in oil. We are just glad we ate this disappointing, awful meal in our own home and not in a dirty restaurant with poor servers as many reviewers have commented on both of those points as well. There are so many options for take out food in this area...please try any other place and pass on MIKO PLAINVIEW!
2nd visit for lunch. Excellent service with delicious food! They have gluten-free soy sauce readily available and were able to serve us gluten-free hibaci, soup, and separate salad dressing.
Very nice restaurant with many options on the menu. Super attentive staff. Affordable prices. The presentation of the dishes as well as the taste of the food is impeccable. Definitely I'll go back there.
My favorite sushi spot ! The rock shrimp is our favorite go-to app. Everything on the menu we've tried is absolutely delicious from the sushi to the hibachi to the other entrées. And the drinks are never disappointing! And service is always a great experience.
Great food and vibrant , energetic atmosphere. Not a sushi fan but I noticed other patrons really go here essentially for Sushi. Hibachi is good and depends on the chef that can improve your experience due to their experience.
This is personal..place is so loud..I like quite place if I spend with girls friend.Services was not bad.And food quality was not bad.Filet mignon was excellent!!If you don't like salty food you have to tell the chief when you sit in Hibachi table.If you want little quiet place may this is not place for you at the night time.This place so busy most of time.Other then that kids will love this place of course you will so enjoy this place for Japanese food.
the food there is good but not good enough for the waiters to be as rude as they are. if I’m gonna be paying as much as I did for a sushi roll I do NOT appreciate the waitress rushing me and my friend out before we even finished our food… She’d come back to the table every 5 seconds asking if we’re leaving and the restaurant was not even busy……
Came here for the boys birthday and loved the food and service. My lil bro and his best friend frequents here I can see why- Shout out out to Steve for being a great host/manager, took care of us for great dinner out for a buddy's birthday. Would recommend sitting at the hibachi table, it'll make for a fun time
