We had 6:30 reservations which they didn't have noted. We got seated where we wanted anyway because the place was basically empty. That should have been a clue. Appetizers of meatballs and calamari. The calamari was good but the meatballs were flavorless. One steak dinner was good. One halibut dinner went back to the kitchen and one salmon dinner was covered with a glaze which not only covered the salmon but covered the asparagus and potatoes. It would have been nice to have a different flavors in the meal and honestly I can make better salmon. Filet mignon was ordered to replace the halibut. Again not much flavor but it was eaten. Way way overpriced. We did get a nice dessert and the service was good although we felt at times we were being rushed although the place again was not full. We picked here because they did have a band and we knew we could dance after dinner however the band proved to be disappointing as well. Three out of three will not be back.
My daughter baby shower May 22,2022 brunch at Risteggios Patchogue. Absolutely amazing .. atmosphere, staff, Chef George, his food was amazing. Couldn’t be more happy, my guests and guest of honor were so impressed and enjoyed everything . Brunch on the weekends there would be amazing ..
We were definitely skeptical going here with such poor reviews but we are glad we did! The restaurant is nice and clean, our wait staff was super friendly and went above and beyond, and food was awesome! Even better we got to see Peat Moss and the Fertilizers play live!! Great night overall, not sure why the rating is so low but we will be back!!
We are from Long Island but moved to Nashville 6 years ago. This was previously a favorite restaurant so we were in town for the week and went for dinner tonight with another couple. Service was very slow and our waiter was not attentive. He forgot my drink and finally brought it with my dinner when I reminded him. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu. The Caesar salad was very good. My salmon with Asia stir fry was black on the outside and completely raw on the inside. When I called him over, he apologized and offered to fix it and give us another round of drinks. I figured the salmon would come back burnt so asked for something else that would be ready quickly so I could eat while the rest of my party was still eating. I ordered the chicken parm which was ready quickly. It was just ok. The round of drinks never came and he never mentioned it again. We had to ask twice for more water. The flourless chocolate cake was really good. Two others had the chicken parm and agreed it was just ok. My husband's baked class were dry, mostly bread crumbs. We were all very disappointed. This is not the Ristegio's I remember.
Great food, amazing atmosphere and friendly staff. After dinner you can enjoy live music and dancing. Definitely will go back.
We went there last Sept 2021 for my Birthday celebration and to see Streetfighters as my friend is in the band. We sat outside on the patio which was such a pleasant atmosphere. We were there from 7:30 to 11:30pm having drinks, dinner & enjoying the music. The food was great and the portions are generous. We had a great time and will be back once it gets warm enough to sit outside. It's a hidden gem in Patchogue.
I’ve been dying to try this place so I decided today for brunch would be ideal. The place is very pretty and the staff very nice but everything I tried to order was sold out the night before, including a large bottle of Prosecco. The dessert was very good though so that was their saving point. I’m unsure if I would give them a second chance but as a first impression I was drastically unimpressed
We sat at the bar and the bartenders were wonderful; attentive and really on top of it. Food was delish- fried calamari was perfect, pizza and wine were good as well. We danced for hours to the music of Somethin Fresh! Great time had by all!!
We just went here on Saturday, 2/26, and what a great time we had. The drinks were great, especially the coconut mojito! Excellent fried calamari. Our dinner was excellent as well! The short rib was the best we ever had and the pork chop was in a class of its own. It is a bit pricey, but it’s worth treating yourself. The band was great and had the best whole place going. It was an all around great experience. Oh, and our waitress Gina Marie, was friggin the best waitress we have ever had!! LOL…. So go here and have a great time!! We highly recommend and will be back here soon.
