Believe the reviews! Food is amazing, and the couple working there is so sweet and friendly.We went for the first time yesterday. There was a guy ordering and first thing he said was "have you been here before? It's so good". Because we had not tried the good before, they have us samples to help us choose, and the samples were so tasty that we knew we were in for a treat.They are very proud that everything is cooked fresh and they have new batches cooking so you are never eating food that has been seating around.And the prices! I don't know how it is so cheap. It's cheaper than fast food, but healthier and much more flavorful.Highly recommended, this is a hidden gem and some of the best food around.
I went into the restaurant and was greeted by the owner. He was very enthusiastic and helpful. Gave free samples. Very patient. Food was made to order, so very fresh. I work for a local urgent care and said we will be ordering shortly for our office. Very pleased with the kind and respect he has for his customers and what he serves. 10/10 will be back.
The owner/chef of Flame Halal Gyro does deserve recognition for his consistent, fresh & flavorful food. I’ve tried multiple Halal restaurants and by far Flame Halal is the best. The food is always cooked fresh to order and extremely flavorful. Once I tried them they are my go to place now. If you haven’t tried it yet, do it! You will be extremely pleased with your food.
This place is a hidden gem! Believe all the reviews, the customer service is amazing and friendly, asked if I ever been there and told him no and gave me a little taste of the food and omg, I've had a lot of halal take out and this place is far beyond superior to most if not all I've been to! The lamb was so moist and flavorful and everything tasted so fresh! It's just a man and his wife cooking and they deserve all the business in the world. I'll definitely be returning soon!
The chicken over rice is soooo good! The food is fresh and so flavorful! Delicious! We'll be back for sure, looking forward to trying the butter chicken too! Owners were very friendly and personable. Great place!
Stopped here on a whim on my way to class. Absolutely delicious food and amazing customer service! The owners are so friendly and passionate. They gave me a little sample too because it was my first time ordering. 10/10 Would eat here again
Believe the reviews. While having an unassuming exterior and interior, the food is STELLAR. Some halal food can be bland and you know exactly what to expect, but this was absolutely delicious, and incredibly flavorful. The only food of its kind worth getting in the area, possibly all of Long Island. And the staff (I believe the owner and his wife?) are really nice people!
This is not the most aesthetically pleasing place but it certainly makes up for it in the food. All of the meat is so tender and flavorful. I have a hard time finding chicken and rice that I enjoy but this place knows how to do it. Not to mention the owners are absolutely lovely and so endearing. Strongly suggest trying it for yourself
Delicious! Found this spot after starting a new job which requires me to drive to Patchogue time to time and the owner is great! He is very genuine and gives everyone new free samples and constantly has a big welcoming smile on his face that makes you feel welcomed right away. Also the best halal I have had and I have even had the ones by the city!
Wow ! First time having Halal and I got the tomato chicken over rice with all the toppings , white sauce and hot sauce ! It was the best food I have eaten in a long time !!! The owner was extremely nice and gave samples!
