Host ignored us and was rude. He needs retraining as he cleaned tables while we waited to be seated. Then rudely talked back like I was one of his little friends from high school. Your website mentions how well you treat the disabled yet the host failed that test terribly as he had my son who has autism waiting for 10 minutes for no reason. 10 minutes is an eternity for someone with autism. Either he has to use his discretion to properly handle things as they come up (like seating anyone but especially the disabled) and not review his I-pad to do what he was told to do next. Or get a job where he does not need to deal with people. We have been to Applebee’s in Commack at least 100 times and never had any issue. The Sunrise Highway Patchogue location was more than disappointing and the manager did not do his or her job by not coming to address the problem when requested and waited for us to leave, which we did. And won’t be back.

We sat at the bar and was never even handed a menu. We left after a 15min wait to just be served and handed a menu. We will never come back.
The waitress Alisha was very nice. Super engaging and friendly. Had cold fries and she replaced them right away. Very much recommend her.

My husband and I ordered our food to good around 8pm to go. We ordered a burger and chicken fingers. Our food did not come out until about 8:55. We live bearly 5 min away. When we got home our food was cold!
