the best pizza and large wings ever
Been since the start of covid since we've been to Sammy's. Living in Kitchener Ontario the pizza selection is quite poor we've been making our own. Yesterday we took our first trip to the States for an overnight stay. We had Sammy's the night we arrived and the next day for lunch. What can I say....tastes better than I remember!! We'll always choose Sammy's as I've been going since I was 21. So delicious and great service!!! Tim was kind enough to store our leftovers from the previous night in the cooler for us! It's a popular spot for us Canadians who love great pizza, wings, and a cozy dive bar atmosphere.
This is a terrible place to get food. I ordered a steak and cheese sub earlier today, and it had virtually no steak what so ever on it. Like I'm saying it was bread, lettuce, onion, (tomato that I did not ask to be put on) and one thin piece of steak under all of it... one measly pathetic thin piece of steak lmao every single other pizza joint downtown makes a hardy fat yummy sub without putting stuff you didn't ask for on it, so what is the problem with Sammies? The problem is they literally do not care about anyone and have terrible management, staff, and cooks. Please be better In the future I hear you lose business everyday because of this sort of thing.
We ordered 6 fish dinners on a busy Saturday nite.Last Saturday to be exact, 4/16/22.The fish was the ‘Best we’ve had in ages!’ Entire dinner was great.Definitely the best fish fry in N Falls!Thank you Sammy’s!!
Working here was an awful experience. The employees are very rude and treated me as if I wasn’t worthy of working there. They would be under the influence of either liquor or drugs, and when orders were messed up they placed the blame on me. The condition of the kitchen area is abysmal, very filthy and very disorganized. It’s a wonder the health department hasn’t shut this place down. If that wasn’t bad enough, the owners generously pay their employees $8-9 an hour, $4-5 below minimum wage, depending on the week. Don’t give your business and hard earned money to this establishment.
They messed up my order and refused to correct it or even admit they did anything wrong and on top of that the woman answering the phone was extremely rude and wanted to start an argument over the incorrect order. Zero customer service and very subpar food. Will not be going there again.
0 stars if I could. Ordered a half tray cheese and pep & this is what I got. ? the pepperoni was so hard it tasted like it sat out for days on end. The pizza itself tasted very old, there’s 0 way that was a fresh pizza. I couldn’t even chew it. $30 I took literally 2 bites & my whole order went in the trash including the Jalapeños poppers. Sad cause it used to be my favorite place but never again.
SOOOOOOOO good. I got the gluten free crust with pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions and mushrooms. This place did not disappoint.
Food and service was great! Everyone very friendly. Our next trip to NY we will definitely go back!
