I went to dinner with my mother this evening, and the food was delicious! I had the chicken soup, gnocchi, and cannoli. The chicken soup was nicely seasoned with an ample amount of tender chicken and small balls of pasta. The gnocchi was fresh and the meat sauce was spicy! The cannoli was cheese based with a nice shell and whipped cream/chocolate sauce spread on the plate. The 2 cannolis were large and 1 would have been more than adequate. My mother had the house salad with balsamic dressing which she enjoyed. She then had the veal with spaghetti in tomato sauce, which she loved! She also had the cannoli. Although the bread was fresh, it would be best to either heat the bread or bring the butter to room temperature before serving. The service was very attentive. The room and bathroom were very clean and the white linen service was a nice touch! Fortuna's also has excellent A/C, which was very appreciated during this sweltering day! I tend to pick my restaurants during the late spring/ summer based on the A/C issue.I also think it is time for Fortuna's to open a restaurant in Grand Island, as we have an excellent market to cater to since many residents can afford their price point and many are of Italian descent. GI does not have a traditional Italian restaurant. We have Nouvelle Cuisine Italian, which is also excellent, but is a different category of food. 19th Street in Niagara Falls is not a suitable location for Fortuna's. We only go to Fortuna's during the daylight, as the neighborhood is quite dangerous. I can't wait to go back to Fortuna's!

Best Italian around, get the veal parm with gnocchi

I can't say enough for this restuarant. Great food!! Reasonable prices!! Their marinated chicken is to die for!! They are a little off the beaten path, but well worth the trip!! Great people too!! Great menu too!! I would go there again but alas, I have no car any more. COME ON WESTERN NEW YORK!! Let's support our local restuarants and the gifts we have in WESTERN NEW YORK not to mention our farmers who are struggling right now!! Everybody.....Happy Eating!!

My server was great. That's about the only good thing I can say about this place. I just had pasta and broccoli but it was swimming in oil. They used frozen broccoli and the pasta was just poor quality and the garlic was over powering. For the quality it's ridiculously over priced. Maybe some of the more popular dishes are worth it but I wouldn't recommend it and I won't be going back.

Writing a bad review because I sent a letter to the restaurant a couple months back and never heard back from them, I have been coming here with my husband for 40 years and will never go back, the hostess was a terrible and very unwelcoming, rude enough to leave a bad taste in our mouth’s that compelled to reach out via letter but received no response so we will be taking our business else where for now on thank you for the years of service

Amazing place. Highly recommended. We called to make reservation and we got seated right away when we arrived.

This restaurant is in an unusual location. It's in a residential area but it's easy to find and absolutely worth a visit. My wife and I started with the Antipasto. It was a huge plate and delicious. For our entrees we had two different pastas that were also excellent and had large portions. We had plenty of leftovers to take home with us. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. We will be returning.

Fabulous dinner. The veal caccitore was amazing. The red sauce was delicious and the meatballs were so tender. The hot bruschetta was unusual but very tasty. The leftovers were even better the second day.

Everything was very good! I had veal picatta which I would highly recommend. I wanted to try the gnocchi or ravioli since they are homemade, but saw on the menu that you can buy them frozen to take home so that's what I did. I was with 4 people and everyone loved their salad and entrée. The calamari was good but served with a duck sauce instead of marinara sauce. I was slightly disappointed with the garlic cheese toast as it was a very small portion. Overall, it was a great experience. You have to he very careful in this neighborhood. I went outside to smoke and got locked out of the restaurant. I knocked on the door and the hostesses ignored me because the restaurant had closed. I was terrified ? and had to start pounding on the windows to get back in. Time to quit!

We had 3 people in our party and didn't have a problem being seated. The server was pleasant and our drinks were quickly dispatched. Our dinners were delicious. We had ravioli, eggplant parm and a filet and all needed take-out boxes. Was very satisfied with everything.
