We read about this place whilst staying on the Canadian side of the falls. Had to make the visit whilst over on the USA side and it did not dissappoint at all. Walking in, the venue is seperated into 2 parts, one has bar tables and the bar, the other side is just has tables. We sat where the bar was, the lady behind the bar tended to the bar and also our waitress, she was very polite even though she was busy. The bar is very well stocked, lots of draught ales and many varuius spirits. Food took a little while to come out but that was becuase we were told by the head chef who delivered the food that one of the kitchen staff left them in the lurch. Wings were awesome, full of flavour, plump and moist. The waitress kept coming over now and then just to make sure we were doing ok. Definatly recommend coming here if you are close by, you will love it.
I visited the restaurant on a Friday for dinner with my husband and 4yo old son. It was about 6pm with less than 50% capacity. There was a "wait to be seated" sign, so we waited. And waited. And waited for almost 5 minutes. The servers saw us, but continued sweeping the floor and clearing tables. We were finally acknowledged and walked on the sticky floors to our table. The server was okay. We didn't bother her for anything because we could tell she didn't want to be there and was busy on her phone. We had to flag her down and ask for the bill because she didn't come to see us at all besides once 3 minutes after getting our food. Cons: - We ordered the onion rings starter for $5.50US. When it came to the table, there were about 8 rings. I asked the server if it was a side or starter portion and she confirmed it was the starter. Ouch...about 75 cents per ring...and they weren't even large. What a rip-off! - We ordered 20 wings and they came out DRY AF! It seemed as if they were reheated or refried. Our jaws were sore from the chewing/gnawing on the stringy and hard chicken. My son wouldn't eat it and I ate two only because I was hungry. I had to spit out some pieces that just wouldn't break down in my mouth. They were average size and nothing spectacular for a wing place. My husband can normally finish 20 wings on his own, and he only ate about 6 because he was hungry. - We had to use the rest room, and if my son didn't have to go so badly, I would have gone somewhere else. The door was covered in splashes/dirt, which was pretty gross. Inside the restroom was as clean as a standard gas station rest room. I totally lost my appetite at this point. Thank goodness for covid and the readily available sanitizer because I thoroughly disinfected after this visit. We ate again shortly after because we were still hungry. Including food, drinks and tip, the total was about $50. - This place is a dive and doesn't warrant the price of the food. I would NOT recommend this place and we will NEVER go back. EWWWW.
Decided to give this place a try and have no regrets. Probably one of the best wing spots. Wouldnhighly recommend you try the HOT and SUPER hot bone-in wings for a true experience.
Absolutely disgusting. Ordered the 10 piece wings with 2 sides. One being chicken soup. And also a pizza stick appetizer. When the soup came out the spoon was dirty. It has like dry chocolate on the back. And when we asked for a replacement they just gave us plastic spoons. Was unable to take a picture of the spoon but did take a picture of the two things we tasted before leaving. The “soup” was given to us with some of it spilling out the side; not even bothered to wipe it off for a clean presentation. And the so called “pizza sticks” looked like eggs rolls. And nowhere near tasted like pizza. Atrocious customer service as well. Was wanting to give the wings a try, but has already a bad first impression of the appetizers. We immediately left.
The wings are great, the wrap was perfect, the fries were perfectly crisp. Definitely wanna go back.
The best wings in the Buffalo area can be found at Duffs. My family and travel all over the country and around the world and it is hard to find wings anywhere that are better than Duffs. Craig Hockenberry Cincinnati, Ohio
No non-alcoholic beer, which is pretty irresponsible. My best friend is an alcoholic and we love watching football and eating a ton of wings. We were both disappointed that Duff’s had ZERO options for him (Anchor Bar has non alcoholic beer for those curious)
My new favesies and quite possibly the best wing sauce I have ever tried: the CharBQ. It’s basically heaven on earth and it is featured in the main dish in the photo. In addition, the wings were freshly cooked, extremely tasty, and the service was lightning fast. I appreciated the waitress as well, who was very engaging and had above-average friendliness. Finally, Wild Cherry Pepsi as a menu item made it 10/10. Amazing experience!
