My husband (celiac) and I stopped here for lunch after a visit to the state park. The menu doesn't advertise gluten-free options, but the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they volunteered to cook my husband's taco shells on a separate surface to avoid cross-contamination. It's a fast-casual environment with a fun soundtrack and really interesting, delicious tacos. We'd absolutely come back the next time we're in the area.
THESE TACOS ARE DISRESPECTFUL!!!! The BEST I've ever had .. they slapped up my taste buds REAL GOOD.. I'm Canadian and am sad it's not in Toronto but I will always keep this spot in mind when I go to the Falls. I'll cross the border just for some tacos! The service was amazing, my indecisiveness on what I wanted was welcomed with hospitality, patience, and the chef providing a nice combo of tacos. I also got the lavender lemonade.... AMAZING!!!! 20/10!!!
Well hellooo there you little hidden gem of Niagara Falls! I am a local resident and I am so glad I discovered this place today! Let me begin by saying my husband and I travel often and are big food enthusiasts! We appreciate flavor and that's exactly what this place gives. Charles helped us at the counter and was such a peach! (thanks for the experience Charles!)My husband ordered the ribs with mac n cheese & collard greens. I had the 3 tacos. 1 of each protein. Fish, Chicken & Steak. I was blown away at the size of these things when I got them. Piled high with an arrangement of toppings. Each bite that I took burst with a variety of different flavors. The batter on the fish was so seasony (is that a word?) & CRONCHY. yummmm. The jerk chicken had a nice sweetness & the ox had a great smoke flavor that wasn't overwhelming. (Alot of places around here get carried away with smoke flavoring) Anyhoo... the portion sizes are huge & are definitely enough to share. I tried a bite of my husband's collard greens and immediately had to go up to the counter to see who's making these! THEY ARE DELICIOUS. My family is from the south. I appreciate a good collard green. The flavor is euphoric. I WILL be back for more! Possibly tomorrow. Either way this spot just picked up a new regular. I can't WAIT to come back & try the cheese grits & shrimp!
visit the Falls. Chose the Shrimp and Grits and very glad I did. The dish came with a side of greens and to be honest, they are the star of the show!I have traveled all over the country and world. I have had collard greens from all over the place and these were the absolute best I have ever experienced. The chef certainly knows what he's doing. The cheesy grits and shrimp were delicious as well. However, I could happily come back every day just for those greens!
After arriving in Niagara Falls, my husband and I stopped at Cantina Falls to order lunch. We ordered two shrimp taco plates and something to drink. While we were waiting for our food, one of the workers was yelling at other workers. We could clearly hear reprimands/condescending language. The music was fairly loud compared to other restaurants as well so it was shocking that we could hear the confrontation of the workers. The food was not very delicious. I didn't have the rice or beans but rather ate the tacos. I had hoped for grilled shrimp tacos and didn't realize they were fried so that was disappointing. We ate quickly and left to get away from that energy and environment. Would not recommend and feel bad for the workers.
It's hard to find authentic food in downtown Niagara Falls, but this place truly delivers some authentic, tasty, affordable food. The shrimp and grits and collard greens was all so delicious. My husband had the tacos which were also very good. Try the lavender lemonade!! Fast service, clean restaraunt, hip atmosphere, and a no fuss menu with some unique dishes. Almost five stars, but the staff was not wearing masks which is wide spread in Niagara Falls and surprising for the level of tourism from around the country. And we ordered to dine in and they served us on all disposable plates and service ware which affected our dining experience. I would still recommend for a great lunch.
Homestyle tacos were awesomely amazing!!! I liked that he had antibacterial wipes on the tables so that we could clean up behind ourselves - which we did not mind. The lavender lemonade was tasty as well! Will definitely come here when we’re back in Niagara Falls! The food - OMG!!! So good! I forgot to mention the beans and rice - soooooooo good!!!
What an amazing experience in flavorful food! I’m mean from start to finish! Service was on point and was not disappointed with the food! Finger licking GOOD!!! thanks soo much for a clean dining area to eat gracious food!
For everyone who think is Mexican Tacos ? they are not !Food is super salty and I don’t recommend it!Price is super high for what’s they offer!??????????????????????????????What’s the purpose of Gordon Ramsey coming here if he didn’t help at all!
The Homestyle Tacos, guacamole, beans, quest and chips were out of this world. That LAVENDER LEMONADE/TEA was life changing for me. Niagara Falls is a hidden gem and the eateries are something to talk about. Thank you Chef for your talents. Your staff was very courteous. This is a must stop for anyone coming to Niagara Falls!!!!
