So so disappointing ordered stake and shrip and the shrimp where almost as big as the stake. Not only that it's not the cut of meat is to Supposed to be don't think they new I grown up on a farm and know the cuts of meat. Don't think I will ever order there again. They say you pay for what you get. Well this time I did not get what I paid for.
Food was horrible, Pasta was not done on all plates, chicken wings had blood at bone. Sent it back specifically asked for flat wings not drumsticks ended up getting 2 flats and 8 drums. Drink had a fruit fly in it. Sent it back new drink didn't not contain any alcohol mainly mixer. Foid was prepared horribly and in a rush We guess cause it was too many of us but we were OK with conversations while we waited. Our waitress was awesome she catered to a party of 19 so we left $180 for her we put it in her hand so she actually gets what she deserved for her service. Will not visit there again.
First I would give the restaurant a 4 star for the food and value. The host at the front door was great! The waitress was so bad it was laughable! Never before have we had such poor service. Took 15 minutes of waiting before she even acknowledged we were there. Took our drink order - another 15 minutes before they arrived. We ordered 9oz glasses of wine and what arrived was not even 6 ounces! The wine glasses were not clean and had the previous wine drinkers lip prints around the rim. Asked for replacement- took another 10 minutes. Ordered a second glass when main meal arrived which never arrived but appeared on the bill. Not once were we asked if we would like water, how are meal was. The bill was brought to the table without us being asked if we would like anything else. She only appeared to have 4 tables- so I could not say she was over taxed with her duties.
Niagara Falls I am sad to say was the worst Applebee’s I have ever been to And I’ve been to many because I like the chain. This restaurant was terrible from the moment we walked in the door. Should’ve taken the hinton left before we ordered. The plates and silverware they brought us were very dirty and had to be returned. My steak was tough and chewy. My fresh steamed broccoli was over salted and over peppered. I will never go back to this restaurant again. I am not a picky person by any means but I felt the need to share this in hopes that they will fix their issues. Nothing about this place was acceptable.
Food was OK, and the reason I'm giving them 3 stars. The service was lacking. While our server was friendly, it felt like we were a bother... while taking our order, another server called her from across the bar to say she got a big tip... which took out server's attention away from the customer (and, maybe why order was wrong) not a big deal, but again, it was like our table was in the way of the servers social time. There are plenty of other examples, from forgetting to bring cutlery, to not taking our order properly (asked for no onions in my burger) to walking away while we were still talking to her (she blamed the speaker was too close to her head, but then turn it down or don't sit people there). We were a table of 5, so expensive enough to deserve a better experience. We like Applebee's as a chain, but likely won't visit this one again.
Service in this restaurant is a hot mess. My wife and I ordered a appetizer before our dinner. The appetizer was placed on the table and we waited no less than 10 minutes for silverware and napkins to eat our appetizer. Please see attached picture, no utensils!!! We asked two employees for silverware before receiving our basic eating utensils. The manager was too busy walking around trying to sell holiday discount coupons, rather than making sure customers were being taken care of. Not to mention the waitress totally got my wife's order incorrect. Needless to say we will not return to this restaurant. If you are looking for a frustrating free dining experience, then DO NOT visit this restaurant.
After so long not going to the states we decided to have dinner at Applebee’s last night. To say this location has gone downhill is an understatement.My husband says the taste of the bourbon street chicken was so overly coated in a lemon pepper type spice he can still taste it in his mouth despite brushing his teeth twice. The chicken on the Mac and cheese was yummy but the “Mac and cheese” wasn’t anything close to what you’d think. Instead it was like knock off, runny Alfredo with no cheese in sight.And I’ll let the picture of the spinach and artichoke dip tell its own story (this was taken after eating some of the crumbs and the whole chips that were on top). I have never seen any restaurant think it was acceptable to send out crumbs.Only giving a 2* because we genuinely liked our waitress.
A well experience. Shockingly this was my first time at Applebee’s and I enjoyed the dinner. Well proportioned and nice staff
Honestly this place used to be decent. It has gone down hill. The last few times my family and I have gone. Everything is cold, things are missed, and it takes forever to get the food. And the servers have been so so. We got one that was awesome but after that. They disappeared most of the time. Just not good anymore. Also the hostess, well two of them fought in front of us. We didn't even get silverware for our appetizers, we finally got it with dinner after waiting.
Ordered a pick-up order - two salads. Hostess was very rude, up to and including dirty looks. Waitress was very polite. Salads were half put together. Lettuce was brown. Tomatoes were a day past old. My husband had a few shreds of cheese, I had none It honestly looked as if the salads sat in a fridge overnight. I'm a loyal Applebee's salad person (have consumed many over 20 plus years), this experience ruined things for me.
