We went here based on a recommendation of someone who'd been to the original location. We waited for a table. And waited. Then, we waited for someone to take our order. Finally got the order in but then waited over 1/2 hour for the food to come out, while everyone around us was eating and leaving. We ordered 2 salads and wings - things you'd think wouldn't take much time at a WINGS restaurant. Then the restroom...absolultey filthy, water and paper towels everywhere, and worse. I know, and understand, that it's hard to get staff these days. BUT any manager has an obligation to check on these kinds of things regularly; and, if he cannot get help, get in there and clean things up or rotate employees who are doing nothing. There were 2 charming young men working as greeters and seaters, but it wasn't so busy that one of them couldn't have picked up a mop or cleaned up the trash. A lesson to be learned. I put this on management. The only reason I'm giving this place an average, and not lower, is the kids liked their food.
For a place with the "original" chicken wing, I admit I was a bit discouraged. Surprised at how we were treated as a customer. We were the waitresses last party of the day, she made that known right away. We all ordered. It took 20 minutes to get drinks to the table. We actually had our appetizer before we got our drinks (sodas, nothing from the bar)! It took another 45 minutes to get our orders. We got a variety of wings, burger and a salad. The salad had field greens mentioned in the description and there was no actual leaf of lettuce or spinach. It had only arugula and some purple veg (sorry, I do not know the name of this green) that was as bitter as the arugula. The wings were just okay. The sauce had no pop. The dipping sauce was prepackaged in little containers with the foil peel off lids, not store made as most wing places do. We did have a certain expectation when you go to the original store. This was a disappointment. Having a server that seemed to be upset because she was sat another table and she seemed put off to serving us. No refills on drinks were offered till we asked for them. The other food was tasty, the bread to the meatball sub was very soggy, the tenders were okay, juicy, but not anything I would not get at a fast food place. We always tip over 18%. We did not here because, at the waitresses descretion she put on the large party tip (table of 8) and we did not add any tip as we normally would have due to the lack of service, not the food. Will probably not return.
We had to wait forever because they were short staffed, but the wings are more than worth the wait. The Buffalo sauce is the best I have ever tasted. Drink water though, because we were charged 4.99 for a soda
very hectic bar - some of the staff seemed overhelmed .... our order (two beers) took a long time - are we coming back ? i think no
We werenât in a hurry so the wait time at the table didnât really bother us, but it took over an hour to get a burger, chicken strips and a kids meal.
Such a let down. Was hyped up so much for the wings and we finally were passing through the area and had a chance to stop. Started with a very rude hostess. Followed up with some VERY subpar wings. We had 10 boneless and 20 traditional. The boneless were very over cooked and very small. Traditional were much better, but even a chain like Buffalo Wild Wings has better wings for much less! Not to mention pre packaged blue cheese and celery that appears to have been sitting around for days.
The garlic Parm wings smelled like rotting cheese. I was so ready to be impressed, but my expectations were far too high for this wing joint. The sandwich they called the weck, what wecking joke!
The host was rude. My husband and I got wings because that’s what people rave over. They were okay. Wings are probably may favorite food and I go many places so again these were okay. Definitely not a must have or drive out your way. We got the medium and garlic parm..both were under the sauces not dry rubs. We got them and the wings were DRYYY the hot sauce was scarce and the other ones literally had been dipped in a garlic butter with a bit a grated parm on them. Basically a plain wing. The fries where regular bar fries. My daughter got a kids pizza. It was over cooked but she still ate it. My son got tenders and fries and the tenders didn’t look the greatest. He only had a few bites. Would we return..very unlikely.
Visiting Niagara Falls and wanted dinner near our hotel. Tried to eat there the night before but was told that there was a shortage of kitchen staff so the wait would be at least an hour. Made a reservation for the next night and got right in with no wait. Decent food, nice waitress, just an ok meal. Was ideal for us that evening because of its proximity to our hotel.
Don't bother going here. I know it is convienet if you are a hotel guest but there are so many better places to go to. Service was slow and the food was just avg bar food. Took 50 min to get a 10" cheese pizza anda grilled cheese sandwich! And I has to ask someone standing around to see if they could check on my order.
