Always a great place to cool off on a hot day. Ice cream is fantastic. I've been going there as a kid and now I'm taking my own kids there.
Came here with my cousins. It was very good! Definitely would recommend going in the early evening to avoid the crowds tho-

Meandering around the Hudson Valley a few years back, I found Mary Jane's Dairy bar and it's a definite stop whenever I am in the area. The nostalgia of an old-fashioned hamburger, hot dog, and ice cream stand was what caught my eye. Great Menu with the basics and a few very tasty twists. The homemade milkshakes are a delight. I'm a standard Vanilla Shake girl but my boyfriend opted for the Banana and both were real standouts! This is definitely not my go-to type of food, but I can never resist the nostalgia of the Northeast Ice Cream Stand, It brings back so many childhood memories.
It’s a dairy bar, which sells food, and is staffed by teenagers.The food is decent, the service is good.They may forget your name, or a part of your order, but they’ll happily fix any errors that they’ve caused.A good guilty pleasure at the end of a long hot day.
So thankful that I live so close because this is my go-to place in the summer! I'm a huge fan of their milkshakes and brownie sundaes. My Bf enjoys the brownie sundae with vanilla soft serve and peanut butter drizzle. It's soooooo good!! Their soft serve is the best in the area and if there's a line it'll be worth the wait. The chicken pita is so good and so are their burgers!!! You're gonna want to come back several times because the selection is immense. Absolutely recommend!!!
i asked for mango and watermelon sherbet, the sherbet was excellent itself until I had peanut butter and peanuts in it, my child has a severe allergy to peanuts and before giving it to him i saw it smeared all over the sherbet. if the business itself are going to hire teenagers in the back they should be properly educated on allergies and cleanliness as this could be an issue for others.
