We just landed from a 6 hour flight when we decided to stop by for dinner. My friend initially ordered oxtail stew and i ordered jerk chicken, after 1 hour waiting, we were told that they were cooking a new batch of oxtail stew.About 1/2 hour later, we were told that the oxtail stew was not enough for 2 people—which left us confused as we ordered for 1.We then ordered jerk chicken and it came with all kind of sides.By 7:30pm, the music got super, super loud that we had to raise our voices when talking. We could not enjoy our food and could not have a decent conversation due to the DJ blasting the speaker. Between waiting 1.5 hour for our food and listening to extremely loud music, we decided to leave as it ruined our appetite.Overall, very nice waiter, clean place, good food, but we wouldn’t come back.Suggestion for the DJ, you should wait until dinner time is over before you blast the speaker like that. We want to eat at a restaurant, not in a night club at 7:30pm.
Had lunch with 2 girlfriends. If you love chicken and seafood, you've found your spot! I had fish and chips and my 2 girlfriends had the seafood platter. Everything was absolutely fresh and tender!
They were out of a few items, but overall the food is tasty

Blown away by how delicious the food and drinks are. Shrimp and grits was the best I've ever had. Ambiance was like a jazz club, yet my two year old was welcomed and treated like family. Proud to welcome them to New Windsor and can't say enoigh. ❤
Absolutely amazing food and service! The atmosphere is awesome as well. Bring your appetite and your willingness to have a good time! Good ‘ol southern comfort food!

Staff was friendly HOWEVER the food was horrible. The chicken wings weren’t sauced, they had so many feathers on them I was afraid they may start clucking birthday were they properly cleaned. The Mac and cheese is completely bland And the yams weren’t even fully cooked
Probably the first mistake I made was ordering escovitch fish. It was bad. I don’t know how it was cooked. It had a fishy taste. The sauce was just giardeniera. The rice and peas was just unflavored black beans and white rice. It was a major disappointment and a waste of money. Never again.
Went to the NW location for the first time coming to this establishment and I was very impressed! The waiter was welcoming and nice. The food was amazing! The fish was fried and seasoned well, mac and cheese was amazing, and the collard greens were spot on. Definitely got my money's worth and I cannot wait to return for more. The chef came out to check on us and he cooked his tail off! Great staff and atmosphere. I have also visited the Broadway location once before for takeout and the server and cook were friendly. Food was delicious!
