Not only is the family pack an amazing deal but the customer service is everything. I have ordered from them a few times. I catered my sons party and not only did they call me for the order but gave me everything I needed besides the food. Today I’m not well and at a different location a bit outside of their delivery zone. They said we can deliver to you now as we aren’t swamped with orders at this time. In a world where not many care about their customers , Westchester Taco Grill takes care and values their customers. A million thank you’s!!!!!
I wanted to love this place after the kids activities but the food was under season, steak was soggy and the “crispy” fish and chips tasted like bland soggy air. The waitress was nice but it’s probably overwhelmed. We were charged twice for our first time. We were chased after paying for the food by one of the servers who advised that our card was charged to another table and the amount needed to be corrected as a result the voided the payment, luckily we are well off as a family and can wait for a refund on a $92 bill. Future reference since the bill was only shy $1, since it it restaurant error to save trouble it is best to adjust the actual receipt instead of voiding payment causing hassle for both customers. Well that’s beside the point, as mentioned food was not up to par for a taco Tuesday, resulting in my family feeling sick shortly after eating.
Absolutely horrific. 20+ dollars for a disgusting, greasy "brisket" bowl that wasn't brisket. Barley any meat at all and topped with cheap, likely store bought, guac and queso. I have no idea how this is at 4.2 stars. Easily the worst food I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Many other better options in New Ro for authentic Mexican cuisine.
Food is absolutely delicious service quick and efficient best time to go is for brunch
Most of the food is good but it’s so overpriced. They really get those poor college students. Shrimp fajita bowl is great. Mac and cheese is so bland. Stay away from that.
Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon since it was conveniently located by Iona College. Street parking is pretty scarce in front of the college. Wasn't busy, so sat in the back. Nice open layout, but found it a little chilly. Think we got there a little too early, so service was a little slow. Ordered the tortilla soup and tacos, which were decent. While there are a lot of taco options in New Rochelle, especially along Main Street, this atmosphere here is a lot nicer. Would like to go back.
I got the cheese steak taco (VERY cheesy) and the spicy pork taco (which was tasty, but not really spicy). I also got a plain cheese quesadilla, which was fine, but very plain with minimal cheese and no seasoning. And that’s not their fault—I ordered a plain cheese quesadilla, and that’s what I received. I just didn’t anticipate how bland it would be compared to the tacos. I would order from here again, but next time get a flight of tacos. They have friend and grilled fish tacos, steak chimichurri, several styles of chicken, and veggie. You can order their signature tacos or can make your own. They also have burritos, bowls, empanadas, and various sides and entrees. Tacos are a little more expensive than what I’m used to—all between 5.00 and 5.75—but it wouldn’t stop me from eating here! I didn’t have any of their drinks, but people seem to enjoy them!
The tacos take a little while to make
The food is decent and the hibiscus juice is amazing but Ive ordered like 10 different times asking for refried beans and pickled onions in my taco and have gotten black beans and plain red onions every single time which is super annoying and not nearly as good. Fries are also great though
I went there for the first time, I picked up my order, the food was nothing to see and the prices were very expensive, I expected something better for the price. I did not like.
