Not only is the food amazing, it also provides a fun loving Exciting atmosphere, The staff is warm and welcoming from the first drink order to ordering dessert I would recommend a wooden spoon too anyone. Just remember to bring your appetite. A big plus is outdoor seating as well just truly a fun place to eat and drink for families singles and friends! ????…. Please remember after Covid small businesses were nearly decimated we must support local or we will have nothing in The Wooden Spoon is local Gem enjoy!!!!
Very good food for a place that could easily get lost between other eateries. An outdoor patio on premises definitely helps the decor. As with some other bar and grills they have a corn hole game on artificial turf to pass the time but better off coming on off peak hours for it. Their shrimp and grits are to me enough for me to keep coming back but again most of the food served here are prepared well. Thumbs up to this family run establishment
I love ❤❤this place so much they food is on point I had grits and shrimp, fried pickles. Fried Oreos for dessert. The waiter was super nice and very professional. It's very clean atmosphere. 3- 7 is happy hour so you best believe I was happy? ?. I recommend this spot. Stop by and enjoy yourself.
First visit: Good service, casual decor, brunch crowd was adults and families Food was hit and miss: - Tried the street corn (bacon on the side), very tasteless and bland which was surprising to look at how much spice it appeared to have coated on them, hard pass - Totchos (with beans and ranch on the side), we liked them and would order again, just very difficult to eat on that small narrow plate since the Tater tots were buried and the toppings fell onto the table when you tried to get to them - Veggie Wrap was flavorful and the hand cut fries were good - Mac and Cheese Burger from the specials menu was good, also with hand cut fries We would return and try other things.
Great spot to eat. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the Chicken & Waffles and Wife had the Fish & chips. Both were very good! Can't wait to go back and try something else!For those foodies out there; the Chicken was a patty and not bone in fried Chicken. I usually prefer my Chicken and waffles to be bone in but this was still really tasty.

Came here recently for dinner before a movie, because the menu looked so delicious online with lots of variety - but left underwhelmed, a little grossed out and disappointed.I'll break this down in sections.Drinks:- Water is provided upon seating and the waitress was so sweet, however before drinking from my school cafeteria-style cup I found glittery lip gloss prints on the rim of the cup! So gross!The waitress brought over a new one and while it did not have the same left-over stain, the rim looked smudged. Our cocktails (a Jim Beam honey and 7-up drink which was just 'ok', an old-fashioned) both tasted like it was watered down liquor and some kind of simple syrup.Food:- Ordered the street corn, DIY "Mac N' Cheese" with truffle and fried chicken bits inside. Street Corn was lacking flavor. The Mac N' Cheese can be a hit or miss in many places but the pasta itself tasted unseasoned and was really oily with the truffle oil. I found myself constantly using the salt and pepper shakers. My boyfriend ordered the "Steak Frites", and said it was decently cooked but lacking flavor.Overall food was kind of mediocre and drinks weren't great. As I said the waitress was very sweet and her service was prompt - so no reflection on her. I can't speak to what went down in the kitchen.
Had my daughters baptism reception on 1/23 and the food was delicious.the party was small and on a budget but Nick and his crew came through for us.From the apps to the entree everything was amazing..highly recommend.

Enjoyed a delicious brunch right before catching a movie! The Bloody Mary was so good and the maple chicken and bacon and grits… deeelicious. Definitely recommending snd returning to try something else.
