If you like philli cheese steaks you have to come here..sports on TV, beer on bar, and cheese steaks to eat..it's heaven..back in Feb 2022 and it's the first place we shall be stopping ??
Cheesesteak sandwiches were awesome! We also ordered Bacon Cheese Fries which were very good. They delivered directly to our hotel. The food came fast and hot! Yum
We were visiting NYC for the first time and came here on our first evening as was over the road from our hotel. Staff welcomed us immediately although the place was busy. We hit upon happy hour (4pm until 9pm) and were served at our table with plentiful beers and generous spirit measures. The cheese steak sandwiches are great, the fries are some of the best I have had (and I used to own a chip shop!). Customers were friendly and we soon joined in conversations with several groups of locals. We returned most evenings of our 5 night stay before venturing further for theatre and sports events. Would highly reccomend a visit. Thanks to all there for a friendly watering hole to rest our tired feet in!!!
Great little pub which serves the most amazing steak baguettes with lovely chips and also nice beer, staff very pleasant and helpful Defo worth a visit
Shortys is a typical off the beaten track bar in New York but you won't be disappointed. The staff are super friendly and the food is to die for. Highly recommend.
Food, fine , nothing special. There's a local food truck that's less expensive and better. Typical NYC service attitude. Apparently 21% tip isn't sufficient, they'll change your cc afterwards to give themselves a 40% tip.
Came here around 9 pm on a Saturday for dinner after a comedy club. It was crowded, but there was a table for the two of us. Staff happy to put on the Twins game (they get pretty much any sporting event), and we enjoyed some hearty, authentic cheese steaks. Not much else to say -- tasty, quick, and friendly.
Our big bus guide sent us here for the Best Philly steak sandwich in New York and he didn’t steer us wrong. We were happy with both sandwich and fries and service was fast and friendly. Good value for New York when you want a quick lunch.

Small and nice place to drop by for a burger, beer or some snack. Nice atmosphere and good attention from the staff.
