You absolutely will not find a better rice ball. Maria's recipe is second to none. I eat rice balls everywhere I go to compare and nothing comes close.
If I could give a review with any star I would. I never waited so long for a pizza as I’m waiting today. Every 30 minutes I call the restaurant and no one knows what’s going on and they hang up the phone in my face 3 times. The last time I called they said “if you want your pizza, you can come here and pick it up “. They charged me for 2 pizzas and the delivery. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! It has been already 2 hours waiting and the pizza hasn’t arrived
Ordered spaghetti with white clam sauce. Made perfectly, so fresh and delicious! Also escarole and bean soup, red berries ice. Everything wonderful. The delivery woman was so sweet. Great experience. Will order again soon.
called in and placed a pick up order (two pepperoni slices) I asked how long , they said 10 minutes . I get there and from the window I see a woman throw some garlic knots into the oven w just her hands … I walked in and I asked about my pick up order … they cut the pizza infront of me and put it in the oven . no gloves . I told them I called ten minutes ago you guys said it would be ready . They just looked at me and shrugged. I told them never mind , it was already 8:45 pm. The female who took my order over the phone was just in the back of the establishment laughing hysterically, very loud . Very unprofessional. Covid still exist , wear gloves when you’re touching my food.

Serving Luke warm slices with too much cheese that it doesn’t get hot enough in the oven. Sicilian slices still have unmelted cheese from the initial bake off…Pizza dough needs more salt..crust is flat with no height anymore.. focaccia pizza is just sliced tomatoes laid on top instead of crushed….the whole pizza had changed and NOT for the good. I don’t understand how they can legally keep the same name Saccone’s and change the entire recipe of the products.. ??????? I’ve been eat Saccones pizza since 1995 when I was in Columbus elementary myself….once the owners changed…so did the pizza. WASTE OF MONEY, go order 4 Bros or Centre Pizza before you order from here again
New owners, been coming here since the 90s. Loved helping Joe and Maria as a child especially making pizza,chicken rolls and bringing them home ? hopefully they keep the cooks or menu somewhat similar since a lot of seniors would always go. Best of luck
Always went there since 1963. Since they exchanged hands, something changed with it. Forced myself to eat one cheese slice... Waiting for the flavor to kick in. I was visiting New Rochelle & was bragging on this place 'hard' and I was embarrassed that I and my NY friends thought it was terrible. Saccone's got my last dollar. $18 down the drain. Never again. The legacy is lost.
I love love lovED it here but I just got my order and no… the pasta fagioli & garlic knots are just not the same :( very sad
