Awesome drinks, service and super authentic Italian food with a modern twist. I always end up ordering half the menu because it’s all sooo good. The owner Matt is a super friendly and down to earth guy who puts his heart and soul into all his dishes. All the dishes are extremely high quality, and yet the restaurant has such a cozy and warm feel to it. I drive over an hour when I get a craving for his arancini or meatballs some days, THATS how good it is.
I wish there were more stars to use for a review, because this place deserves 6 stars. I highly recommend getting the house mozzarella and focaccia appetizer - they are so delicious paired together (PS. Ask for the spicy diavolo sauce to eat it with)! We usually get the margherita pizza with calabrian chili, mushroom, onion, and garlic confit. The pizzas are well done and have the perfect sauce to dough ratio, giving it the perfect crunch! The vibes are excellent (it's an open kitchen so you can watch the people prepare the pizzas), and the cocktails are great. The quality of the pizza is extremely consistent and well done - quite a gem in Westchester :) We love coming here during the summers to enjoy some games outdoors and a hearty meal. OMG. I can’t accurately express with words how THRILLED I was to find this place! It is so cute and the menu is one you’d be happy to cross in Brooklyn, let alone in New Rochelle. We’ve been back 3 times, taken friends and fam, and everyone leaves raving. Every single thing we’ve tried has been superb, from the veggies to the pizza, and don’t miss the basil/lemonade/vodka slushy!!! I had to look up the owner, and it happens to be owned by the same folks that own the purveyor of what I have dubbed the best grandma slice in existence (that shop is aptly named Best Pizza.) Pizzeria La Rosa is not to be missed!!!
Omg the flavor of the pizza they make is delicious I love the fact that make them in a wood fired oven, the devices was good I liked the place but the reason k don’t give 5 ⭐️ is because the wing la Rosa are just bad super chewy and too much sauce and condiments
I think there are wizards working at this place. We had pizza with caramelized onions and kale, the best pizza we ever had. We travel trying many top rated pizza places, this is the best. Also yummy tiramisu.
The whole menu is fantastic. The owner, Matt, is an awesome guy as well. Order pizza, salad, apps, chicken parm, drinks, dessert. Whatever you get will be great!
This quickly became one of our favorite, most frequented spots. We love the pizza (and they just launched a vegan pie!!), the wings, the salads, and my son loves their pizza bread as an app and their rigatoni pasta. The service is always great, with familiar, friendly faces every time. And the cocktails are amazing, too! Love the spicy Paloma. Definitely a hidden gem with a really cool vibe. They deliver locally as well.
Good all around spot. Nice staff good food and the sauce on the rice balls was definitely a homemade sauce. Very good.
Excellent thin crust pizza after many attempts to hunt down a go-to pie shop. Definitely recommend, will not be disappointed. Light sauce and fresh cheese, and a perfectly wood fired crust.
Once again, I go here for the Rice Balls, homemade, so delish. Tried the wings, exactly how I like them, fried and grilled. Even the blue cheese is delish, forgot to ask if it was homemade too. Chicken parm, freshly breaded and grilled. Topped it off with a Irish Paloma, my favorite Italian Bar & Grill
