Ate here a few times and never had a bad meal. Great presentation and always good. Drinks are great too. Service got a little slow towards the end, but not too much to complain about
The service was truly outstanding. It had been a long time since I went to a restaurant that had such amazing service. The staff was so attentive and helpful. We had a couple of mishaps (dropped a drink, etc.) and they quickly came to help. The food was also very delicious and the portions were just right. They look small when you get the food but it's deceiving, they really are the perfect portion. We were celebrating a birthday and they saw he had gifts so they quietly asked one of us if it was someone's birthday and offered to bring dessert at the end of the meal with happy birthday written on it and that they would sing happy birthday. We didn't even need to ask! It was incredible, nothing but great things to say about our experience!
Loved this place. The staff was very accommodating. We lost track of time and stay past closing. They were super nice. Food and drinks were excellent and reasonably priced. We sat outside. The weather was gorgeous. The sun was not in our faces. They also had this beautiful music playing that was enjoyable but not too loud. Will definitely go there again.
We had an amazing meal at 179 Bar and Grill . We were with another couple and everything we ordered was delicious....fried calamari and flatbread for appetizers and the main dishes we had were so good...i split the chicken martini and a burger with my husband and both were delicious...the service was terrific too...staff was attentive and kept our water glasses full and cleared plates quickly when we were done with each course. Leave room for dessert! We sampled a few and they were all yummy. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out with good food, service and atmosphere...we will be back!
First time there, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were excellent! It was a weeknight and not hugely crowded. We sat outside, which was very pleasant. The only downside is that it is right on Route 1, the Boston Post Road, so it was pretty noisy. Next time, we'll probably sit at the bar which is long and attractive. Recommended.
