two stars for the drinks. the salmon tasted frozen. the people i went w also were not a fan of their food. my friend picked apart her burrito to find something worth while. i heard amazing things and terrible things, unfortunately we had a terrible experience with the food. i might go back to try appetizers and see if anymore drinks are good.

Disappointed and confused with all the great reviews. The margaritas were very good. The food was not good, sorry to say. The yellow rice and beans were eh didnt eat them at all. I got enchiladas 3 amigos it came kind of cold.. I ate one.. my daughter got a burrito it was dry and the meat was dry.. we usually bring food home this time we left it on the plate.. I came home still hungry... the food is NOT authentic and I could cook it better at home and Im not Mexican.. This is an appetizer and drinks kind of spot! I wouldn't order anything other than that!

Not actually worth '5 stars' in any objective OR snooty manner. But you know what? I could not possibly ask for an overall greater Mex experience. Highly recommended. Highly.

The food was amazing and the service was great. The restaurant felt cozy and the decor was nice. Very reasonably priced

The food was delicious ? and the servers were very nice. I will visit this place again.

I placed a takeout order came back about 10 min. order was paid for, I usually don't tip for takeout, I asked if I could have a glass of Sangria before walking home, the server told me they don't serve alcohol?? Tons of bottles at the bar and everyone in the place was drinking, what is their problem..never going back, rude.

Good food, took a little time but worth waiting for. Only thing I didn't appreciate was I asked for a menu and was told we no longer have menus please scan the code which I'm fine with, then a party came and sat at the table next to me and we're all given regular menus.

Nice place to hangout and chill. Food is on point and delicious. Friendly staff and is helpful. But today I did take out.

Okay so I have been to Mexico many times so I may be a bit picky but regardless I try to be fare. I do expect a place like this to be "American Mexican" so my expectations were not high, however the waiter did not know which tequila he had, he mentioned a few and said thats all, I went to the bar and there were many more on the shelf. The menu is typical American Mexican but a bit pricey for the type of entrees, I ordered and the food came out within minutes - always a bad sign at any restaurant. The food was not good and my friends dish was the same poor quality, the salsa was obviously out of a jar not fresh and that says a lot for a good Mexican restaurant. Disappointed to say the least.

My cousin and I met in New Rochelle not knowing there is a great deal of construction going on along Main St. Luckily there is a municipal parking lot about a block off main St. We then looked for a place to eat and since La Herradura has an attractive exterior, I looked for reviews on Trip Advisor, which were very good. We weren't disappointed. The quality of the food, service, cost and attractiveness of the interior made for a very enjoyable lunch. The restaurant was empty because, I believe, all the construction along Main St. I will definitely eat again at La Herradura's when in New Rochelle.
