There was no alcohol available and the place was empty on a Thursday night. Nothing as advertised was happening. The food still took a while and tasted bland. The jerk chicken was sub par and far from the traditional taste. I would have rather ordered from any other spot in the city for less. The wings were also fairly bland and not hot or crispy at all. Automatic 20% gratuity for 2 people bill was out of line. Waitress was nice but this place is not worth the spend unless going for the lounge and drinks part on a more crowded night when they get their alcohol services back.

Our check came with an error (charged us with food we didn’t order) and the manager had to sit down and smoke her hookah before she fixed the issue. Automatic gratuity for 2 people is ridiculous.
Truly amazing amazing amazing food and I mean it! Huge tapa dishes, and delicious. Music is amazing, environment is great. Amazing TVs to watch the games!!!! I heard they have brunch too, can’t wait to return
This place is amazing!!! The staff are so accommodating and the bartenders never miss!!! You will for sure feel the effect from the famous " AVA AVA Sunrise" drink. My family had an great time and the food is phenomenal, I would suggest the Guava Wings or the Peanut Jerk Wings. The prices are reasonable compared to the other restaurants in the area. I will for sure visit this restaurant again.

Awesome! Tasteful! Delightful! I was there to celebrate a milestone birthday and as soon as you walk through the door - "IT IS INVITING". Greeted with a smile and the facility is warm! Where we sat was on point....Sun shined through the blinds. Everyone (15) was comfortable. Food was very good (only suggestion is to cook the mac n cheese longer). RUM PUNCH will literally knock you off your feet! Sangria was awesome too! The waiters & waitresses were very professional and very attentive to our needs. The music was on point. We sang and danced all afternoon. AVA AVA is so inviting that we partied with the couples that were near us! The highlight of the night was the owner/manager celebrated with the birthday girl and us! He made sure that we ended our evening with his kindness as well as his staff! Thank you Ava Ava RBL - WE HAD AN AWESOME TIME!
I had a great time at Ava Ava. I always meet new people there. It is a great spot for single people as well as people with significant others. Im at this lounge at least once a month to let my hair down and unwind. This last time, I actually went there for my father’s birthday celebration and the food was fresh (steaming hot) and it tasted great. I am very picky when it comes to food so that was a plus for me. The bartenders make the liquor strong so I was loving that as well. And to top it all off, the DJ was on point for every nation. I was feeling like I was in a different country every hour. The hookah was nice and Smokey, how I like it. Overall Ava Ava is the best lounge in NYC for me. I literally cross the Bridge from Queens to New Rochelle for a great time. You should come down to Ava Ava if you want a great experience. ❤️
Where do I start. I had a night full of fun and adventures at Ava Ava RBL. I literally danced the entire night, the moment I walked in until I walked out the door, and still was dancing in the car ?. DJ was great and he played for all nationalities, even my old school Jamaican music. The food did nice and hot meaning fresh out the pot. Everyone bought me drinks and it was pretty strong. Whoever bought the drinks got their money worth because I never had good drinks like that at other RBL’s. I had fun for my birthday. Free DJ and people buying me drinks all night, man I had the best night in a long time. You should go to Ava Ava RBL if you are in the area.
Decadent drinks, fabulous food and sophisticated staff this place has it all. We really enjoyed our Tapas (El Amar) and the jerk chicken wings, service was provided by Mercedes, who was a attentive and graceful. Sunday was our first time here, but we will definitely be back again.
Our group held our monthly lunch meeting here. Food is superb- Spanish Caribbean flare in a beautiful setting. Will definitely be back for dinner. So good!
