We went to pickup lunch. My coworkers said the bar pie pizza was delish. The grill chicken sandwich was meeeh. I would try other sandwiches instead. The bread was good tho. I would come back again to try other food but their pizza crust is super thin if you like that. They dont sell by the slice. Only by small or large pie. Have to eat it quick if picking up or it'll get cold fast
I moved out of the area 20 years ago and paid a visit to Eddie's while on a trip to see family. It used to be fabulous for pizza. Boy was I disappointed this time. The bar pie was tasteless, there was nothing special about the sauce or cheese, unlike in years past, and the thin crust, which is what I was really looking forward to, was also nothing special this time. I'm also wondering why it's cash and check only and no cards accepted, not even debit. Won't be returning, unfortunately. Not the Eddie's I remember.
Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Our party of four ordered one personal “bar pizza” each and swapped a slice each. Our server was very friendly. We’ll be back for sure!
Bar pies, in an old school bar, what not to love!
We were running out of places to go on our Sunday nite dinners, so we decided to try Eddie's. This was the 1st time we ate here. There is a parking lot just past the location with plenty of spaces. At first we sat in the side where the bar was located but it was too noisy and we moved to the main room which when it was filled is also noisy. We saw that they were bring out lots of the bar pies which i thought i would order, but changed to dinners. The ladies had the eggplant parm which they though was a bit overcooked. I had the combination of calamari and scungilli with rigatoni. The pasta and sauce was good but the seafood was a bit chewy and overcooked. Guess that is why the pizza was the big mover. Service was ok. At least we can say we gsave it a try.
Gotta go to Eddies......their bar pies are really unique. One of the thinnest crusts ever and we just love them. We know folks who travel far for the bar pie. Good drinks as well and just in case, they have other good choices on their menu. We are glad we live nearby so we can also take out. Try it!
Sat at the bar for lunch. The bartender was super nice, and service was wonderful. The place has a dive bar vibe, but I love it and it's not pretentious at all. No taps and cash only. Got a salad, wings and white clam bar pie. The wings were AMAZING - fried with fresh, crispy batter. The pizza was pretty good but honestly the wings were way better and definitely the highlight.
