From my early high school days and to now when I come back to visit family I always stop by Doms! The best deli sandwiches and fingers you will find in the area. Every sandwich and even the chicken fingers are DELICIOUS but Vinny is arrogant and condescending.I called and placed a catering order on June 24, for a pick up on July 3, and paid in full by credit card. I even called early on July 3, stating it is paid for and I'm having someone else pick up my order and if that's okay? The girl who picked up stated not a problem, she see my order, and just tell my daughter to say my name and that's it.My daughter got there, went to the catering pick up counter. After waiting a few, Vinny came, when my daughter said hey I'm here for a pick up gave my name stated what the order was, he became super aggressive and was like where your order ticket? When my daughter stated that I placed the order/paid via phone and that she doesn't have one and that I called earlier that day to confirm and was told she only needed to state my name. Again Vinny started to get annoyed and more aggressive and asked for my credit card statement for proof?! Like WHAT?! And proceeded to tell my daughter to relax even though my daughter kept stating a she didn't have one because the order was placed via phone and obviously why would my daughter have my credit card statement. Finally another gentleman behind the counter found my ticket and helped my daughter.My daughter was shocked, caught off guard and called me right away explain the situation that just took place and felt uncomfortable with what just took place. For an older gentleman to talk to A) a women B) to anyone like this, is UNACCEPTABLE!If the receipt was needed, then at the time of me placing the order, they should've asked for my email and sent me either an email confirmation or even a text.It's sad that such a great deli, that has amazing food, has such complaisant person running the deli.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Dominick’s Deli for years. There is no better place to shop for meat and Italian specialty products. If you’re having their world famous chicken fingers, lunch for one or a party for the office/family Dominick’s can handle all your needs with professionalism and expertise at a reasonable price. Add on the fact that they have the friendliness staff you can imagine and ample parking the picture is complete. If you’ve never tried Dominick’s, run…don’t walk to Herricks Road. You won’t be sorry!
Best Italian-American Deli in Long Island imo bar none.I’ve been there countless times and I cannot remember a single order not putting a smile from ear to ear. So authentic and sooooooo good.They are famous for their chicken fingers and can be ordered from small cup size up to catering trays.Best to order online or call in early. Line tends to get long on weekends.
We ordered 4 regular size heros via online in March 2022 for a party , they weren't what we expected they were small the bread not toast and also the bread wasn't the bread that said on the menu. No one told me when I picked the food so when I got home we were VERY surprise with the heros. Next time order them in person not online..and of course we ordered the fingers they were great..again VERY VERY surprise and disappointment with the heros!
The chicken tenders are excellent. Everything here is fresh and great tasting.
Great Sandwich place and Deli. They're famous for their Chicken Tenders which are just GREAT. They have a slight honey mustard flavor to them.
People go crazy over this deli chicken fingers with honey mustard dipping sauce. Lines are out the door many times. But truth be told they make great hero and salads. My only issue is every time I go here the staff is a bit aggressive, I can see it's busy and you need things to move along, but the attitude is always there behind the counter and register. Not every customer is aware on how to order chicken fingers and all the different sizes. All and all a great place for salad and sandwiches and chicken fingers.
Absolutely love this place. The owner is so great I will definitely be back!
