Stopped in to celebrate a birthday. Service was great and the food was even better. We got two appetizers the greens and arancini no picture of them, but both were great. For dinner the picture show fillet sandwich with greens, chicken francaise, lobster ravioli, beef tips with gnocchi, and gnocchi with Pomodoro sauce. We were so full we had to pass on desert, but will definitely be back to get some pastries from there in house bakery.

Very nice place. The bar area is a little small and people who are waiting are right on top of you, but that is what you have. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. Worth a visit.

It’s Saint Joseph’s day and also my daughter’s 24th birthday. What started out to be a nightmare was turned into a fantastic night. The only reason this is four stars versus five stars is simply due to a reservation challenge. Once that was resolved, the service and food were outstanding. The sirloin tips and gnocchi were a unique combination and I highly recommend it. Most importantly, the owner’s wife came out to our table at the end of our meal, took responsibility for the scheduling issue, and was apologetic and kind.Reviews, in my opinion, on the Internet should never be negative. Only use this platform to give positive feedback. Otherwise, you can ruin reputations and it’s not fair. If you have a problem, don’t hide behind the Internet, address it with management upfront and everything will go fine. I know this from first-hand experience owning my own places. Great job handling this, Cafe Canole. And, our waitresses were great as always - especially Christina. Thanks for a great night.

Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent.

Wonderful food and lots of options

I was so looking forward to a nice Valentine's dinner but ended up being extremely disappointed. began with a ceaser salad which was acceptable, and the shrimp bisque. Although soup had a nice spice to it, the tomato base took over, not a hint of heavy cream which in my opinion would have balanced it out. I know it's a very busy dining nite but we barely finished the starter and BAM here is your entree!!! My partner ordered Shrimp Oreganto with sundried tomato risotto. Shrimp not too bad but again, risotto was tomato based sauce. Not good. I ordered a medium rare filet with a red wine bordelaise Cooked perfectly however the meat was not tender. Again the sauce was more tomato than wine and steak and sauce had no seasoning what so ever!! Bland meat (hello you are chefs, you don't know a steak has be seasoned before it goes on the grill! Kosher salt is not that expensive) and horrible sauce, not to mention the zucchini, that was sliced with a little olive oil, again no flavor. of course I didn't want to leave without my peanut butter cannoli, that was always my favorite. I took it home for a bite and was asking "where's the peanut butter?" I remember the early days of Cafe Canole' when everything was tasty and delicious. I'm sorry to say I can't recommend this restaurant for a delicious night The 2 stars are for the bread.

One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Filet Saltimbucca over greens. Great atmosphere. Warm and cozy. Dean and Jason Nole chefs prepared an awesome meal.

The pastries are the best! The shelves are always stocked with tempting delicious things. The dining is great too! We have a gem here!

We stopped for a quick cup of coffee and treat during the busy Christmas shopping. They were so accommodating and the Italian Christmas pastries from the bakery were absolutely delicious!

Excellent, however….. $3.00 charge separate checks SERIOUSLY??????
