We love this place. Hibachi food is excellent, as is the sushi/maki/sashimi. This has become our go to place for Japanese food when in Middletown.
Food was amazing, service was wonderful. Restaurant is beautiful. I definitely recommend!!! I had the basil filet mignon..it was so tender and flavorful!! And the sankitini is a must have!

My family and I have eaten in and ordered take out from Mr. Sushi various times. We have not been disappointed. The sushi is fresh and delicious. Their other dishes were fantastic. My favorite is the Golden Mango shrimp.
I stumbled upon Mr. Sushi & Grill while waiting for a family member to recover at Garnet Hospital. On extremely warm Spring afternoon, the appropriate choice was sushi. I was greeted by a sweet hostess who was eager to please. When I was seated, the bartender offered me a complimentary lychee martini which was smooth and refreshing. Immediately I knew I was in for a surprising experience. As I browsed the menu, I found a moderately priced toro that I simply could not resist. The house salad consisted of thinly sliced carrots with crispy iceberg coated in an invigorating ginger dressing. I opted for the sushi and sashimi combo platter, which did not disappoint as I was served yellowtail from the master sushi chef. I recommend this place for a romantic dinner, business lunch or private party. If you want to impress someone, do not hesitate to give these guys a try. The staff is professional, prompt and courteous. The dining room smells of foreign Asian flavors making me want to try more of the enormous menu. A wonderful find for a strip mall in upstate NY.
The taste and portion wise are good in my opinion. I ordered Shrimp Tempura Roll and Seafood Yaki Soba and it was good. Handling by Leo.

Great location with lots of parking. Food is excellent, service is good with short wait time. The coconut shrimp and fried rice with chicken were very good. The spicy salmon/tuna Sushi was fresh and really good. Will definitely recommend.
