J’s place was an awesome experience. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and cozy. We highly recommend and will definitely return.

Not only is the food incredible, but the customer service is by far the best I’ve experienced in a long time. We were immediately welcomed, the waitress was so sweet and helpful and the owner/ manager stopped by to check in.

I found this amazing place via Google. We were on our way back to the city from the casino and were starving wanting Brunch. This place is it!!! If it was closer to the city we would most definitely come here every Sunday! The owner was very welcoming and the decor is dope. It was a busy Sunday because it is "that good"!I have never had "fig" jam. (Let me tell you fig jam and toast is it!!! )I also need to mention the ladies restroom it is GORGEOUS!! The decor, the mirror and the light fixture. I am a fashion guru and when I walked into the ladies bano I was astounded by how clean and pretty it was.. (wish I took a photo...)Now back to the food. Flavorful, mouthwatering and the presentation!! Server and Justin were by far the best!!! 5+ STARS!!! ?????You must come here!!

We went for brunch on Sunday. The food, service and atmosphere was great! I highly recommend you try it

An outstanding experience! From the moment the owner greeted us at the door until we stepped back onto the curb, every moment at J’s was fantastic. It is obvious that the owner, and all of the staff, truly care about people and creating an upscale but very welcoming experience. The service was top notch and the food delicious, with creative touches like a house made fig jam to accompany the Brie and an outstanding pineapple curd to further enliven a creme brûlée which was made from real vanilla beans. My dinner companion and I are both fortunate enough to travel often and pursue our love of culinary artistry. J’s place stands out as the best overall restaurant experience we have had in recent memory. Our thanks to J, and his team, for providing an unexpected gem on our path between Connecticut and Minnesota. Please keep up the great job and we will see you again soon.

We really enjoyed our food at j’s. There was a bit of waiting around, even though we had reservations but it was a Sunday and the place was packed. We would definitely come back.

Made a reservation... Was greeted by J and was told Patrick would be our waiter. We never met Patrick. The only staff we saw worked diligently cleaning off a nearby table and preparing it. Waited 30 minutes and never even got a glass of water. Respectfully we will not be returning. If this happens to you "Tapped" is a great restaurant 3 minute walk away. We were promptly seated, despite not having a reservation and given drinks immediately. ?

The food is really good but be prepared for a $2 up charge on all the food.Fried Grit cake went from $15 to $16 now $17, spinach and goat cheese omelette was $11 then $12 now $13.Challah French toast from $12 then $13 now $14 and you get the picture.I won’t be back for a while if at all.

My friend and I went for her birthday last night. The food was amazing and the staff from start to finish were great. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about all there menu items. We will definitely be going again and highly recommend people to try it.

This is one of our local favorites. Once we are warmly welcomed into a cozy ambience, starting off with a wine flight along followed by a nice selection of appetizers (the wings are fantastic!) and entrees (seafood Fra Diavlo is worth checking out for seafood lovers) makes for a memorable evening. The desserts are excellent too - at least as takeout if we feel stuffed which is often the case for us.Certainly qualifies to be a Hudson Valley gem.
