Lady who answers phone is very rude. Dismisses you before you can even say what you’re calling for. Terrible customer service.
The lady taking the order was extremely rude and treated the customer horribly. I recommended their restaurant to a friend who is visiting from.another country and when I was told how poorly she was treated by the lady at the counter I was embarrassed not only by the lady's obvious racism toward my friend but the order wasn't even made correctly. I will never ever recommend another person to that establishment nor will I my family members or friends ever order anything from there.
I love this restaurant. They have good egg rolls and make a fabulous shrimp and eggplant.
Horrible service, I called to let them know they forgot something in my order that I was charged for and the lady hung up the phone before I could say anything. I did I placed an order for delivery and she said "No delivery" and hung up. I called back to say I just wanted the rice that I was charged for. She then proceeds to yell at me and tell me I'm wrong. When I have the receipt in my hand and see the charge on the receipt and my bank account. I will never order from here again. She was very rude and disrespectful for no reason.
Have been going here for a while, and this place has overcharged me in the past, i let it go... But today they did it again.. and im never going back. Be careful if they dont ask you what size which they should ..they will automatically assume u want large.if its lunchtime they wont mention the lunch combo which i think its pretty obvious if im ordering something 3 hrs before the lunch special ends to charge me the lunch combo price. Nope.. the lady behind the counter is a sneaky hustler. They will overcharge every chance they get and hope you dont notice. Which is sad because some of the food is really good. But not for the price you pay after they sneak in a couple dollars here and there on everything u order. Goodluck...
We have been customers of Empire for decades. Since they opened. We enjoy their food but never found them particularly friendly or customer centric, but we overlooked it.Today due to illness i ordered from Empire and arranged delivery through Door Dash. My order was delivered right on time. However; when i unpacked the bag i found that a quart of fried rice i had ordered was missing. (10 bucks). So i called the restaurant and told them. No apology of course. I was told, “I packed it in the bag”. To which i responded it’s not here i didn't get it.“ I packed in bag. You can come get it.” I said i didnt want to come get it and paid a pretty good price to Door Dash to do that. Again i was told they wouldn’t bring it. After telling her what i thought of their business practices and that i would never use them again i hung up.Whether it was the restaurant’s error or if Door Dash forgot to deliver another bag ill never know. But i do know Empire needs employees who care about customer service. They do not deserve my business ever again and they don’t deserve yours.
The staff are always rude. Their food used to be good, but they definitely went down-hill.

My food order was completely wrong and the clerk who took my order was very rude. My refund request was denied also.
Gave me wrong food and had attitude when I asked them for the right food and utensils. Also charge dinner prices at 12 o clock? Waste of money
