Had a great experience here with my family. Severs were attentive and friendly. we didn't have to wait to be seated. Food was amazing.
Stopped by after a meeting on a whim. Good food at reasonable prices. Enjoyed a patty melt which tasted good. Server was attentive and took care of all our needs. Will stop by again when I am in Orange County.
What a lucky find!!! Great stop on our road-trip! Food and service were great! Crystal was our waitress…she was terrific! I had the chicken tzatziki wrap and it was delicious. My son had the pizza burger. He said it was the best pizza burger he’d ever had! My husband had a chicken wrap and awesome onion rings! Lots of things to choose from. No doubt they were all good! Definitely make a stop, you won’t be disappointed.
Nice clean friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. The food servings are a great portion. My waitress Gina was the sweetest, she made sure we had everything we needed and was quick about our service. Just a very pleasant person. Thanks Gina.
Maybe it was because I had an excellent meal elsewhere the night before, but the Diner was a let down. We stayed in a neighborhood hotel so tried it. The chicken and shrimp parm were very dissatisfying. I even left one of the shrimp, very unlike me. Not enough red sauce on the pasta. The waitress got you the 3 stars. She was very nice. New but very nice.
I love diners! I very much enjoy coming to D'lux diner. I think the waitresses are wonderful. The cooks are great, the food always taste delicious. The supervisor Sal Sosa worked the entire diner greeting guest and handling orders. He checked in on guest at the table and knows many patrons as they have become regulars. He checked in on the kitchen or wait staff to see if they needed assistance. Recently there has been a change in supervisors. Sadly, Sal has left the diner. I hope the same warm professional style is carried on to the guest and patrons of the diner. I enjoy my dinner and people watch. It's my down time to decompress for the day. I loved that I could come in alone but be warmly received and sit at the counter knowing that I will be treated like a patron. Sal was very good at that! All the best Sal!
Great food , generous amounts, reasonable prices. Patti and Anita great waitresses during breakfast. Gina absolutely wonderful on the lunch / dinner shift.
It was a great meal, highly recommend the Crystal Combo! Really liked the rice pudding!
I was there for breakfast once on New Years Day and once for an early Valentine's Day. The staff could not be nicer. The food was merely average. First time, I had the bagel and lox. All they had was plain bagels. The second time, I had blueberry pancakes, which were very tart. My girlfriend got eggs Benedict - the yoke was solid and did not run the way it should have . Great staff, a little disappointed with the food .
New York Diner at its best. Anyone thinking of opening up a dinner should visit this one first. Huge delicious portions. Inexpensive. Wonderful staff. Super draft beer. No room for free deserts.
