I actually left after 5 minutes. The menu looked good, the place looked good, and the staff was all beautiful.While sitting at the bar considering the menu it occurred to me: such an emphasis on appearance is not important to me, so I politely thanked the stunning bartender for my water, said this ain't my kinda joint, and left.I'm sure the food and wine are excellent. Shalom....
Upscale Italian cuisine. A little pricey, but the food was excellent. I enjoyed my chicken parmesan and everyone else loved their meals. Live music inside, but we ate on the quiet patio outside under a trellis with real grape vines (nice touch!).
We had a late lunch at Cosimos and it was good. One of us got a pizza, one got a flatbread, one got a burger and one got a salad. The chopped cobb salad was a standout. The burger was average and the pizzas were very good. We asked for pickle for the burger and found out that the restaurant does not carry pickles! Service is brusque and all-business. Don't look for banter or chit-chat. They should get the flue checked on their wood-fired oven - there is an uncomfortable smokiness upon entering. Fortunately, we were seated away from the open kitchen so it wasn't so bad - but when we exited again past the bar it was pretty heavy.
Was not happy with food or the server. Decided to move to another table on the outside to get out of the sun. I was berated by the server for doing so. The food was nothing special.
I love this place sooo much. I come here with my boyfriend very often and not once have I had a bad experience. The food here is exquisite and very flavorful.
We booked our wedding rehearsal diner, Tony and Staff were outstanding in booking and taking care of us We had a room for our friends and family which was perfect Food was delicious service was great everyone raved about the rice balls “the best they ever had “ Room was clean staff was great You will not be disappointed if you decide to book a large party Also we ate there 3 times before we booked and always food was on point
Horrible pizza, dry and the waitress managed to charge my card twice. Then stated one of the charges would drop the same day because she made a mistake. It took days! The manager stated it’s no big deal WE DO IT OFTEN! That’s a problem that they charge people double for days and luckily I called my bank! A SCAM!
TA reviews weren’t wrong. Very nice atmosphere, excellent service and a real culinary Italian. Huge portions at moderate prices. Nice wine list that’s affordable, too. Worth the stop for us traveling through.
Went to the Cosimo’s in Middletown for a late lunch, early dinner. As usual with any of Cosimo’s restaurants, the food was outstanding ! Carrie, our server was absolutely wonderful ! Our food was served quickly and she checked on us continuously. She is the epitome of how a server should treat its customers. Thanks again Carrie !
Meh. Just meh. I've never had a bland Ceasar salad before this meal. The calamari is served (for whatever reason) over top a pool of very spicy "fra Diavolo" sauce that is too overpowering for the dish. The bruschetta is served on a large UNCUT slice of bread. Why? My best guess is so you are forced to struggle to cut the hard crust and soggy middle in order to eat it. The flatbread pizza's are tasteless, unless you consider uncooked flour a flavor...
