We live across the street so when my mom doesn’t feel like cooking this is the go to spot I was on keto losing weight so they suggested a Ceaser chicken salad pizza and it was fire I also love their Wings and personally I find it to have the best cheese pizza and extremely filling vegetable pizza now I just get the ceaser chicken salad without the pizza and always trust theirs suggestions Colandrea is my fav spot it’s always bussin ??
Stumbled upon this gem while spending the night in Middletown. We were beyond delighted with the pizza and the cheese steak. We tried the grandmas pizza and it was to die for! Honesty up there with the best pizza in the country!
The rumors are not true! We were hesitant to eat here after hearing they sold and the pizza possibly taste different. It's not true. I grew up on Colandrea's pizza. It is by far my favorite. I am overjoyed that the pizza taste exactly as we remember. It delicious as always. Give the new owners a chance. They will not disappoint.
I have been going there since the late 80s and always loved the pizza and especially the calzones. Everything on your menu seems super sized it's money very well spent. I hate that your retirement time has come and I wish you all the luck and enjoyment you can have in retirement. I have read some of the reviews since you left and the place just isn't the same. It's sad cuase that pizza parlor is a institution in Middletown. Again thanks for all the memories and enjoy your retirement
I was in town for business and I ordered there wings. There Mild Wing Sauce is the BEST that I have ever had. I just wish I didn't live 5 hrs away.
New owners, not the same. The large pizza is smaller. The sauce and cheese are minimal at best. The cheese used to pull when picking up a slice. And, it I'm not the only one complaining. I pour powdered garlic on mine at home for taste
The last time I went here it was very different. February 2022. Didn't see the Italian soccer team posters. The counter looked renovated. I guess no more childhood memories. RIP the past will miss the old place getting a yoohoo can and slice. Sitting in them tables.
Me and my wife went to Colandrias Pizza today, I had already ordered a half a tray of meatballs to go( which only cost $35 and came with garlic bread and three small loaves of bread).We split a slice of grandma pizza for an appetizer which was out of this world and a seafood combo with Fra Diablo sauce over linguine(with garlic bread and a side salad included) for $21.99 that was to die for. Both of us didn’t finish it,I highly recommend Colandrias Pizza
Awesome place! The staff is always very friendly and the food is amazing. I’m a vegetarian and Colandrea’s never has any issues making all of my dishes veggie friendly. They’re very accommodating! Their subs are to die for!! Thank you for making my lunch Colandrea! Keep up the great work everyone ??
I really wanted to like this place better than i did, especially since the waitress was so personable. Not knowing where this place exactly was, it was a little difficult to locate. Its off 211 in the strip mall, in the far back corner.The plain slice was average, chewy, with oil dripping. That is usually an indicator of a lessor quality cheese. There is without a doubt better in the area. The bacon , chicken ranch slice was quite good and if that's your slice, you will enjoy. The chicken francese, was very enjoyable, served with garlic bread and salad. Perfectly prepared. I went on a recommendation to try the cheesesteak. Certainly better than others in the area, but not anywhere near what one might get at max's, in philly. This was dry and shy on the toppings, especially the cheese. Hardly any moisture to it and it dried out quickly. With just some minor adjustments to this hero, they could take it to another level, especially for orange county. Decent enough, and middle of the road plain pizza, uses sugar in the house sauce to cut the acid, if you have sugar issues. I wouldnt go out of my way to dine here, but if i were in middletown, wanted a clean pizzeria with a decent product, this will do.
