Ordered the Irish breakfast. Corned beef hash was canned Mary Kay type, seems like the potatoes may have been bagged frozen. Only item fresh that I could tell were the eggs. My husbands pancakes were delicious. Waitress was hurried but attentive. Guess I’m spoiled by the Mud Puddle in New Paltz. Best corned beef hash anywhere. Chunks of corned beef, fresh potatoes and onions.

First time I went, pretty late, food was amazing. Second time ordered breakfast to go, again delicious. Dined in the other night, asked for my steak medium rare. The steak came out medium well and seafood that came with it was more like a soupy rare. Don't know what happened but it kinda ruined the place for me.

This was the first time eating here and I have to say not bad. My food came early and my waitress was really nice. I would return back and I would recommend to others

I regularly order take out now and then and it's usually nice. But they make mistakes when it comes to customer service and standards. Like the photo of a "regular" burger mentioned with this review. I ordered two "regular" burgers, one with motz cheese. It's absurd that the standard of paid service is as pictured. I suffer from memory loss and this problem isn't the first time but it's the last. As this diner advertises their sub standards for sale to the "Average Joe".I ate my "regular" burger due to time limits but taking my mom's back for a cash refund.

Shake was good, service was good, and you should note that a bunch of the options that say they're only available on cerain days may be ordered at any time if you opt out of hollandaise sauce. Why they dont always have hollandaise sauce (or poached eggs??) is odd but not my place to ask. Good enough.

Picked a random place to eat while driving to NYC. Definitely a no frills diner, but meal I orders (the Greek platter with seafood Bisque) was pretty tasty. Milkshake was meh at best. Would go back here the Greek platter.

We found this place on line while driving through New York. The service was very efficient and abrupt. It is New York after all. Our omelets were large and pretty bland but they were filling and OK. The place was clean and apparently very popular as it was very busy. It got the job done and we were back on the road

We happened upon the Americana on our return trip from NYC and were looking for a good place to eat. After a brief six minute wait, they were slammed, we were seated and our waitress took great care of us and even brought my wife a second cup of coffee with my water I asked for part way through the meal when she stopped to check on us.(She did it multiple times.) We'll be back.

Stopped in with my granddaughter after a very hard day of moving. Order a bowl of soup and the girl brings me a cup but insists it’s a bowl. Ordered calamari that was freezer burnt and tasted horrible and then ordered 2 strawberry cheesecakes to go and get 2 strawberry shortcakes. Just not happy

So far has not disappointed us. This is our go-to dinner. They have everything we crave and it's delicious!
