this location consistently makes mistakes with my orders. i usually order delivery on tropicalsmoothie.com. i ordered a hummus veggie wrap and was given a wrap with literally just lettuce and chicken thrown in carelessly. if it were even edible i wouldnt have made a deal about it, but it was absolutely nothing near what i ordered. when i called the store about my issue, the manager was extremely rude to me, did not want to help at all and she literally hung up on me. it took me 6 calls after she hung up for her to actually answer again, this time my dad called and she said she would issue the refund, which she never did. it was disgusting to be met with such attitude over a mistake that THEY made.
The girl making the smoothies was moving extra slow while still having about 10 smoothie orders to make. Now I’m not sure if maybe she’s new but I would highly recommend putting someone with her to help her. I’ve worked in the food industry so I understand the pressure. Finally the smoothie I was given tasted like pure orange juice but it was suppose to be a Sunrise Sunset. I’ve gotten the smoothie many times to know exactly how it should taste. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for a breakfast drink.
I am really mad right now placed a mobile order this is a 3 cheese QS but BURN!!!…!! Really we have to wait 15 min to get this..
Not the friendliest staff. 1 out of 2 orders was made incorrectly. The smoothies are ok though.
Loved that they had social distancing measures set up between tables. I haven’t seen any other tropical smoothies take that precaution and I frequent 3 other Long Island locations.

I went to the Merrick location, ordered a blueberry bliss with peanut butter and chia seeds. They charged extra for those two to be added which is fine except for the fact that they were never added. When I got back to work, I realized I was charged and they weren't added so I called to get a refund on the PB and Chia Seeds. Jada, who answered was the one who made my smoothie. She goes "I was the one who made it and I know for a fact I put it in there" So I responded and said, "well, I'm drinking it and taste NO PB!" I know what PB in a smoothie taste like! It wasn't in there so I asked her to look back at the cameras and she said she didn't have access so I asked her to have her manager run the camera back because I wanted a refund on what wasn't added to my smoothie. She said she will have a manager call me and she took my number down.A manager never called..I never got a refund... She wasn't sorry AT ALL. Ill never go back. Poor service and poor management. My smoothie tasted like water. I never write reviews but her attitude on the phone and then the fact that I never got a call or refund made me super upset and I knew I needed to do this so that no-one else has this issue. Looking at the other recent reviews now...I wish I never went there!
I get the chia banana smoothie with peanut butter, my daughter gets the Bahama mama and her bestie gets mocha madness and they are all amazing.
We arrived at 10:50pm and the lights were already off and the doors were locked. We walked up to the door and was turned away with 10 min to spare. Because we knew we were cutting it close to closing time we called 5 times at 10:40 to order ahead but no one answered. Poor poor service.
