One of the best Japanese restaurant I know. Been going there for about 5 years since discovering it. The place is clean. The atmosphere is calming. The staff are nice. Met the owner once and he's quite friendly and approachable. The food is great and tasty. Love my sushi in black rice, which is rich in antioxidant. Haven't been disappointed so far. Kudos to Sushi Ko. Arigato gozaimasu.
My new faborite sushi on LI. Got a sushi/sashimi for 2 special to go. Eveything super fresh and they take pride in preparation. Great find. Amazing sushi. Will definitely be returning. 5 stars all the way!
Very good, very fresh sushi and sashimi, all beautifully and artfully presented. The staff is very nice too!
Order the omakase set. Fresh, select fish. It came with the best chu-toro hand roll I’ve ever had! It was infused with truffle oil, and had a touch of pickled radish and scallions.
I have dined in Sushi restaurants from 1985 till the present from Manhattan to Boston , Cancun to Puerto Rico but never had such exquisite buttery excitement like this. Total mouthwash straight up
I ordered seafood soup. There was enough broth (not a seafood broth, by the way, more like a veggie broth from a cube), for two people, but, the soup consisted of one piece of shrimp, some stringy fake seafood, and quite a few pieces of raw red and green peppers. Extremely disappointing. The seaweed salad was adequate. The sushi combo was nothing special, I have enjoyed far better from other restaurants in the area. The people who fulfill the order forgot the salad that comes with the sushi entree. Best Japanese restaurant in the area???.. absolutely not. I will not order there again.Best
Came here for late lunch on a Saturday. Quiet but service and food was great/timely.
