Every time we come here we are so impressed with the food, the servers and the atmosphere. A real gem- the food is always delicious and everyone is so very nice.
Very pleasantly surprised how good our experience was. From the outside you might not even notice this place but inside was a large well equipped bar and seating for quite a few people. The staff couldn't have been more attentive and the selections on the menu were many. They also have specials too. The food was really delicious. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem. Also, if you have children there is a kids menu.
Friday night and live music to boot!! First time diners and we were not disappointed. Specialty cocktails got the night off to a great start. Appetizers were tasty and well prepared. Entrees were outstanding and full of diverse choices. Was a pleasant surprise to find a good establishment in Merrick; we will return.
Amazing omelets and lemon pancakes. You all must go for Sunday Brunch and make sure to get the champagne Brunch flight.

This restaurant is a wonderful surprise! We definitely recommend it for cocktails and a casual dining experience, whether you’re a couple or a group. There’s bar seating and booths up front, and tables in the back. The cocktails were crafted beautifully. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu and able to make great suggestions for dining. The menu is superb and the chef is very talented. We started with the crab cakes on the “small plates” menu. They had fresh lumps of crab, with a delightful panko bread crust and an amazing apple chutney sauce. The Fig & Honey Flatbread was absolutely wonderful. And the Classic Burger with Fries were cooked perfectly. There’s also a great dinner menu, and we’re excited to go back and try more dishes. Give “Off the Brook” a try, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

First time going to this restaurant and definitely won't be the last. The food was incredible and the portions were big. The quality of the food was tasty, fresh and unique. The atmosphere was very relaxing with a great décor. The staff was so polite, energetic and friendly, you felt as if you were family. I really can't say enough about this place. I can't wait to come back and try some new menu items. PS, try the flatbread and the mussels in white wine sauce. Absolutely incredible!!!
We had the zucchini chips, sweet potato pillows and beet and goat cheese salad, and everything was delicious! Service was friendly and professional.
